I want to change my url. Like, I'm so sick of the one I have. My blog needs a makeover. I want it to be punny and/or have my name. I need to redo my about me, get a new theme. IT'S JUST TIME FOR A CHANGE.

Omg so last night I watched this really horrible romantic comedy where the only funny part was the aunt of the main girl thinking the girl was pregnant and saying "that's not Christian" So I made it my new catchphrase And tonight at the waffle house my mom was gonna have our waitress throw out the last two bites of her waffle but I saved them before she could walk away and said "that's not christian" and the waitress thought it was so funny. What's even funnier, Jamie, is that I'm not Christian. lol i can't even...

Just so you know,

If I am talking to you, and I say that a third party that we both know is racist, they are racist.

If they said/did some fucked up privileged racist shit, they are a racist.

It doesn't matter if it was just one time. It doesn't fucking matter how long you have known them, or how long you two have been friends. It doesn't matter if it seems "out of their character" to you. How would you even know, you're white. They have never had cause to say shit like this to you.

They. Are. Racist.

Because statements like: "I try not to be racist, but some kids just make me have to be..."

or

"I don't hate all black people, just the stupid ones."

or

"Not you, you're one of the good ones..."

Those types of statements, they make a person racist. Sorry if it hurts your feels to think that your friend isn't as great as you believed, but now you're part of the problem. By systematically shutting down what I have to say. By ignoring me, saying that I'm wrong or crazy, you are helping them in their oppression of me and other PoC.

You are saying to me, they have my allegiance, and I will never believe them capable of this destructive behavior. I cannot take your word for it, because my position of privilege over you makes me incapable of understanding you.

Understand that when you dismiss me in this way, you're being a shitty friend. That's it, there aren't any excuses for either of you.

Lol that episode of "All Grown Up" where Kimi tries to learn about her Japanese heritage and all the white kids are like "whaaaat, no. Stfu Kimi that's not important. We don't need to try new things. Don't talk to your biological dad about your family history, you get to be american now..." And some how she ends up apologizing for wanting to embrace her culture. This is some bullshit tho.

Omg so this girl in front of me on the bus dropped her deodorant and I fell over to the seat next to her, and she's acting like she doesn't know. And the guy who's seat its in doesn't know. Nobody sees it but me... I am the only one who knows about the deodorant.
