Her injuries make it difficult for her to walk and go to work and to class, and because there's no proof that the other lady did what she did, her insurance will not cover her medical expenses. Unfortunate Reality

If you tell the truth, people will hate you.

If you live your life for others, they will mock you.

If you avoid confrontation, they will attack you.

If you treat people equally, they will turn on you.

If you teach what you know, they will ignore you.

If you ask for information, they will deceive you.

If you look to the past, they will pity you.

If you look to the future, they will sabotage you.

If you maintain your dignity, they will slander you.

If you let down your guard, they will kill you.

The best you can do is live the former,

and accept the latter as the consequence

of inheriting the earth with other humans.

new rules

“treat others as you want to be treated”. 

I think it’s time for a new ~golden rule~ new year, new me //coming soon in a lil over a month//. &new me is starting early with the new rules. (it’s 2020, I can do whatever the hell I want, right?)

do not speculate. communicate.  risky business assuming someone’s wants&needs are exactly the same as yours.

There’s a saying — “just because you won't eat a lion, doesn't mean that it won't eat you.”

Expecting others to do what we would do for them makes no sense.

Having expectations (without communicating the same especially) is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Even if you do communicate your expectation, its on the other party to fulfil that or not.

Our only focus should be to do our best, all the time.

What others do is on them, their consciousness, their awareness, their understanding, their point of view.

We can only control our own actions. We can’t control that of other’s.

So, do your best and forget the rest!
