Awakened Fates
Dark. Why was it dark? Right, his eyes were closed. He had been falling a while. And when he finally hit the ground...well...the boy in purple and gold robes couldn’t tell...but a few bones might have been broken. He thought back to what had happened. It had been a pleasant day. He had gone for a walk, alone. He was attacked. Bandits, nothing special. He wouldn’t have even needed to draw his blade. Besides, it was a perfect chance to test a new spell he had been working on. He had cast it...it had gone horribly wrong. And now he was here...wherever here was...and with that, the purple haired young man with the sword on his back, and book at his side, lost consciousness.
{ @thegraypath encountered an unfortunate specter... }
Hoshido... He was in Hoshido. That much became clear to him as he held up his bow... No. This wasn’t his bow. This wasn’t the Skadi. That boy, his son, had the Skadi... But he couldn’t bring himself to shoot the child and retrieve the bow. That was...
No. It’s fine. It can be retrieved later.
No. He didn’t want to hurt him!
As the archer approached the castle, a man with red hair atop a pegasus would be the next one in his way. How annoying. Taking aim at the rider, two arrows were shot off by him. Takumi (was that his name?) almost grinned as both arrows hit their mark, bringing the pegasus rider down. Two more arrows were fired, and brought the beast down too. Why leave it alive if the rider would soon be dead too?
He shambled towards the red haired man (Subaki, I’m so sorry.), something seeming familiar about him. Perhaps lost memories that wished to rise once more. He stands over him, a soulless stare being all that the rider would see from him as he waits for him to die...
That’s when he sensed someone, and turned his head to the side. He went invisible again, deciding to simply watch...
(Feat. @thegraypath .
Tfw someone draws your muse and you have the urge to draw their muse with yours... I also decided to change the way I paint the highlights/light in the eyes, is it good? Should I keep it this way?
Also dark haired F!Corrins for life.~)
Hey, so about duplicates on a team for the pirate scramble, how does that apply to MUs? just no duplicate MUs regardless, only if they are different enough to not be easily confused (like a different name or radically different appearances)? Sincerely a Corrin-mun ~thegraypath
“Good question! So long as there’s some variation – be it hairstyle, scars, anything else – we’ll treat an MU as a separate character altogether. Of course, if you end up havin’ the same name, we recommend you give us some sorta nickname that can easily be referenced, if only temporarily.”
“For instance, if there are three MU’s on a team who all look different from each other but are all named Corrin, you’ll need to come up with a nickname to distinguish yourselves when submitting a team.”
“May I suggest Princess Blue for you?”
@thegraypath answered your ask “Take it from a spectator. Life’s not a spectator sport. If watchings...”
Corrin giggled. “Take it from another spectator,” She winked, “Life gets so much better when you stop only watching.” A little scary, a little uncertain, but to have her own fate in her hands had brought about so much change for the better.
Still, she wasn’t without her moments of hesitating. Old habits, she supposed. She put a hand to her chin as she watched the celebration before her little corner, happy that everyone was so excited about Nohr and Hoshido finally setting aside their differences. Yet even after becoming so used to many of the people here- friends, family, brethren in arms -she found herself trying to process it all. The silent dragon dead, her a queen to a kingdom that was… a bit of a fixer-upper, to say the least, and her siblings- all 8 of them -leading the celebration like they had been friends all their lives.
“What do you say to some more involved spectating?” She asked, offering her hand.
“Heh... Careful, Boss. I’ve been known to be a terrible influence on others. You sure you wanna be seen around with a rascal like me?” he teased, graciously accepting her hand. “Heh... I’m sure my old man would have an aneurysm.” He gave a playful wink and a smile.
@thegraypath
“....My head’s starting to hurt you should look at this map not me.” Keaton shoved the map into the other’s hands.
@thegraypath// cont. from here
“If they don’t fall for the bait, then we’ll just send out our flying units to distract them long enough for our units placed at the front to surround them, and then attack at all angles, if necessary. It’s a bit of a gamble if they have archers, but I don’t think the likely hood of us having to rely on plan B is very high,”
A smile forms on Robin’s lips as he addresses the other’s concerns, understanding her worries for his plans to fall through, and so wanting to explain why he believes everything should be just fine. After all, the battle that lay before them is not one the tactician believes to be particularly difficult or tricky, and he had been working on these plans for a while before asking Corrin if he could go over them with her. The plan itself is fairly straightforward, but he understands that tactics are not understood as easily to some as they are to others, so rather than feeling annoyed at her request to go over the plans once more, he smiles, nodding his head as he places the tip of his index finger on an ‘x’, a place he had marked at the starting point on this map. Using his free hand to re-situate some small, wooden pieces--representing the enemy’s army--, he speaks up, his voice kind and calm, but spoken with an air of seriousness.
“Of course we can go over it again, Lord Corrin. We’ll start here...”
The strategist explains his plan to the female once more, tapping his index finger on the ‘x’ to indicate the starting point, and then sliding it across a scribbled dotted line along the map, hitting important areas he had marked. Once at the top of the map, he explains how their army will ambush the other’s while they are hopefully distracted, knocking over the enemy unit pieces to signify that they have fallen. His explanation finished, dark eyes gaze over at the female, cocking a single brow in a questioning manner.
“Did you understand it? If not, I can go over it again.”
