her grandmother was the last queen of the Towers. gwendolyn is trying to take her family’s power through politics. gwendolyn was raised mostly by her bodyguards after mom vanished and her dad was killed. she reads mostly Very Important Political and Military Works and also demon fairy tales and children’s stories. for Diplomatic and Cultural Understand. of course. i can’t actually remember the dude’s name, but she fucking hates the prime minister. she and noelani have been a relationship for a few years. technically, there aren’t mornings, but she gets up because being idle is The Worst. she’s totally a slytherin
Noelani Kalama
she’s a technomancer and she can talk to the dead, but that’s not really important. she works at an art museum she was raised by her mothers and she has a little brother. they live in a wall apartment actually gets sunlight so her house is covered with screens made of fruit vines. she reads anything she can get her hands on and refuses to admit that she likes crappy paint by numbers sci fi. she isn’t the type to have an arch nemesis, but she spends way too much time chasing after children who are trying to touch the Priceless Artifacts in her museum and she has tried to install shock gates around the exhibits multiple times. she is madly in love with gwendolyn. she gets out of bed for hte Joy of a New Day (she’s the well adjusted one). seems like a hufflepuff, but a total ravenclaw
Evander Aldebrand
he’s a guy with a mental power that’s way more powerful than he is. he was raised with his older sister adelaide and his younger sister irena until his power grew to the point that they were the only ones immune. now he lives in the caverns under the towers. adelaide provides for him and he does some temp work online. he has two more sisters, ophelia and ursula, but he’s never met them. he doesn’t read much, but he loves listening to dai’s stories. he doesn’t get out enough to have an arch nemesis. he and dai have been together for years. some days, he just plain doesn’t get out of bed, but if he stays in bed too long, his power just gets worse. a very shy and retiring gryffindor. he’ll get his chance eventually.
Daisuke Wakahisa
he’s a demon who feeds off of mental energy, keeping evander stable enough to be functional and not kill everyone but his sisters. they only thing he really remembers from his childhood is the girl who used to be in love with, but it wasn’t all that bad. dai is many things but an intellectual is not one of them. is surprisingly fond of tabloids though. he has an arch nemesis, but he hasn’t found out about that yet. he gets out of bed because he isnt’ ready to die just yet. that and evander drags him out of bed if he doesn’t get moving fast enough. total hufflepuff.
