April 25th, 2019 || I finished this book yesterday and unfortunately it was such an underwhelming experience for me. I was completely unmoved by the story and even now, I don’t know how to write a full review of it because I don’t have much to say about it. It was just one of those books you read in your reading lifetime which you forget the second you turn the last page. It’s not a bad written book, it’s just one that didn’t make me feel anything 🙃 . . Had to put our cat down today. She has been sick for a while. The cat on this book looks just like her. 🇬🇧 As part of my #japaneseliterature project, i’m reading #theguestcat by #takashihiraide this month. The thing is whenever i read a book about cats i just want to hug a cat and just be in that moment. Then i cry a little cause my cat is with my family now, i just miss him so much, it hurts.
