I made this Reddit post hoping to find out more info about an SCP YouTuber named The haunted reader (real name Hunter). I asked about his whereabouts because he had a history of attempting to stop existing so I'm doing this as a concerned older fan.

The Mysterious Dr. Cool

A Collection of Some Facts and A Lots of Speculation plus Rumors.

To whom whoever has not heard of Dr. Cool,

Dr. Cool is a strong yet slender giant who is an O5; suffix 12. His appearance is menacing due to his repeated choice in clothing. Black pants,button-down shirt with an over coat, barrett and his mask to accompany it, follow by MTF standard boots. The mask is the most notable part of Dr. Cool, due to the two lighten up tubing that runs to his back and disappears under the collar of his shirt.

This mask is a required necessity for Dr. Cool's survival, due to a past incident with SCP-682 breaching containment. Along with Dr. Cool being horrifically mutilated; it is rumored that Dr. Cool also lost a loved one during the incident, causing him to become the cold, calculated, emotionless shell he is today.

This incident may also be why Dr. Cool has a borderline obsession with planning ahead and preparing for whatever the future might bring. As well as the unsettling nature of him willing to do everything that is necessary for the greater good of the world. Even if that means working with a G.O.I. ; mainly either the U.I.U. or G.O.C., due to him being mostly hostile to the rest.

In addition to his preparation, he is a skilled tactician. He is well-versed in hand-to-hand, vast knowledge and application in weaponry, plus the leader of the largest MTF team called: The Red-Right Hand. Some have anonymously mentioned to me, that Dr. Cool has a great hatred towards most SCPS and all D-Class personnel.  Even more to captured G.O.I members.

Unfortunately, all of Dr. Cool's reports on his interrogations of captured G.O.I. members are level 5, though there are some rumors. The first rumor, is that Dr. Cool will go through all the trouble to find your most loved ones and turn them against you by threatening them to some unknown extent or actually torturing them. The other, more commonly accepted rumor, is he will ruthless torture you worse and worse the longer you stay quiet.

Most of this is just speculation and rumors, yet this remains the most likely factual information collected on Dr. Cool. Thank you for reading.

Dr. Cool

So this technically isn’t an Inktober picture even though it is SCP-related. I was going to save this until after all of my SCP Inktober pictures were done, but I changed my mind because I really want to dedicate this to an awesome YouTuber that I love. 

I didn’t get that interested in the SCP fandom until mid-September, and one of the SCP channels that I discovered was @thehauntedreader‘s YouTube channel, where he does his SCP readings under the persona of Dr. Cool (seen in the picture), an O-5 Council member who is the leader of Mobile Task Force Alpha-1 (a.k.a. The Red Right Hand). He wears a mask because he had been severely injured by SCP-682, and Haunted’s SCP readings are done in the style of training videos as if you are being trained to work at the Foundation. 

He also does Let’s Plays where SCP-682 and SCP-999 play different games, and he also sometimes has Q&A videos where you can ask questions to Haunted, Dr. Cool, or any of the SCPs. 

He’s been working really hard on his videos for five years now, but YouTube has been screwing him over with demonitization. He always strives to give the best to his audience, and he’s been going through a lot of tough times lately in his personal life. If you are a fan of the SCP Foundation or even just creepypastas, please check out his channel and his Patreon. He is criminally undersubbed.

Haunted, I hope that YouTube stops treating you like crap and monetizes your videos again. I wish I could donate to your Patreon, but I cannot at the moment. However, I will spread the word about your channel so more people can see your work. For what it’s worth, though, your five years of hard work have not gone unnoticed by your fans. I’ve only been a fan for a month now, but I was hooked after watching one of Dr. Cool’s training videos. Internet hugs! <3
