The Second Act | Closed starter for @thehazbins (Lute + Lilith)
Fighting Lilith had been a huge mistake... After everything was said and done, she had been stripped of her title, her wings, her halo... She was cast out to hell, deemed a traitor by her own kind for breaking their end of the bargain. You do not attack a hellborn, and you do not attack the royal family. Adam had already broken their deal in trying to attack Lucifer, and for it he lost his life. Her punishment, in the eyes of the Seraphim, was just and good. But her penance would do her no good now. The Seraphim, enraged by these events as they were, were beings of status quo. They would return their realms to what they were. How they should have stayed. Even if it meant striking another deal. A better deal.
Lute, on the other hand, had other ideas. If Heaven could not see their mistake in letting Hell continue to thrive, she would make them see. And so she hid. A waiting game, though undesirable, was all she had to play. She certainly didn't expect her to find her first...

It wasn't an offer he had expected, not from Lilith of all people. The fox raised an eyebrow at the Queen, both perplexed and interested.
“Let me see if I’m understanding you: you’ve heard rumors about me and my time as an assassin, and that encouraged you to try and enlist my services as a bodyguard? Well, I guess it would make sense; who would know how to stop an assassination attempt better than someone who used to be one?”
He mulled the offer over for a short while. He wasn't used to royalty and nobility asking him to act as a guard for them; in life, he was asked to snuff out people in nobility. Still, she did present a tempting offer.
“Alright, Your Majesty, if you think this old, washed-up fox can serve as a decent bodyguard, I gratefully accept.” He tentatively reached a hand out, not sure if he should shake her hand, kiss her ring, or some other gesture of deference.

The Marquette was cold. It was always cold. Andrealphus liked it that way...with its glittering ice statues and stately rooms, all of it meant to boast of his power and prowess. The Goetic Assemblies were often held there, and his position as host and master of the house secure.
Coronis only attended upon request. And it was less request and more demand. Usually when Andrealphus was trying to make matches.
The icy ballroom was full of Goetia, birds of every color and size. Servants carried trays of drinks and snacks, flowers arranged nicely in vases, and new ice sculptures put on display. But Coronis was hardly a part of the gatherings, instead clinging to the wall by a wide window. They had found a chair, a safe place she was least likely to be seen, and had secured a full tray of vodka schnapps she was slowly but surely working her way through.
It was nothing new. She had seen this scene before, and knew how to survive it.

❝ Take care of them, Steven. ❞
These were Rose Quartz's final thoughts as her light form shattered around her, making way for her son. She knew she wouldn't be able to be there for him, and that hurt her more than anything... What she wasn't expecting was to wake up on the blazing hot concrete, disoriented and lightheaded. She coughed lightly as soon as she breathed in the brimstone laden air, eyes flitting around... Rose weakly managed to get to her feet and looked down. The sight that followed almost caused the gem to faint. She recognised the clothing that adorned her dainty frame... But in the center of her torso, where the roughly 5,000 karat pink diamond should have been, was nothing. She placed her fingertips upon her bare stomach and frowned. Her colour was off. Everything was off. Why was she here? Where WAS here? How was she alive? These questions and more flooded her thoughts as she stumbled around in a panic looking for help. Someone had to know what was going on... Anyone...
Fallen Angel
Start for @thehazbins
Slow motion. That was how it felt for Hezekiah. From the second that his feet left the ground until he gained full awareness of exactly what was happening.
He was falling.
That was what he got for doubting the order of Heaven. It was unbecoming of even a Low Ranking Seraphim such as himself, even if he was well known in Heaven for being one of the only Human Souls to fly up the ranks to Lower Seraphim. But recent events caused him to question everything, therefore he became a threat. And his name and title suddenly meant nothing.
Falling. It was all he could do now, close his eyes and wait for the impact.
CRASH!
How he wasn't Double Dead, he had no idea. How did he know? The pain was the first indication. His face already stung, an X shaped wound stretched across his left eye, leaking golden blood onto the floor under him as he managed to flip himself onto his hands and knees. He knew he only had a couple minutes, tops before the shock of the impact wore off and he would be in too much pain to move. Then he really would be Double Dead. He quickly took stock of his injuries. His wing had snapped, just seeing the crooked angle it sat at was enough to tell him. He had lost a fair amount of his beautiful feathers as well. His arm was fucked, his leg. Everything. It was so fucked.
Hez quickly looked around, trying to figure out where he was when he saw a sign.
Cannibal Town.
While Hezekiah didn't like the idea of being around Cannibals, especially while he was 1. Actively Bleeding and 2. Very Vulnerable, he knew he couldn't stay where he was. Any wayward sinner would murder for a chance to coerce the young angel into a deal. Angelic Power was something any sinner or Overlord would want in their back pocket and Hez quite liked his soul the way it was. His own.
With a groan, he forced himself to his feet and he started walking. The pain was starting, the shock was wearing off. He needed to be quick.
Paying no mind to the cannibals looking at him, Hez pushed forward, his eyes locking on a singular target.
Rosie's Emporium
Nearly there. Nearly there. Hez had to drag himself up the stairs to the door when his legs finally gave out on him, landing him on the ground before he could so much as knock on the door.
BEHOLD: A plotted starter for @thehazbins from Sydney!
It was a quiet day for Sydney, seeing as he had nothing to do. Charlie hadn't planned for any redemption activities for the day, so he was taking the free time to roam the area surrounding the hotel. At this very moment he was quietly tending to a small plot of land he had recently taken up as a hobby. He was absolutely fascinated by the unusual flora and fauna of Hell— what little there was, anyway— and was gardening. Generally people tended to leave him to himself if he wasn't trying to interact. His residency in Hell was something that drove most away. By all accounts he SHOULDN'T be there, but he was. And this bothered a LOT of people. Only the ballsiest sinners dared approach him with the intent to harm. Not that it did much... He was intimidating when he wanted to be. After all, you don't get the nickname "The Hunter Demon" for nothing. His reputation for challenging the most deadly creatures on earth earned him that one. A hum escaped his lips as he gently tamped down on the soul around his most recent specimen. So far, the garden seemed to be going well!
@thehazbins liked for a Lucifer starter: Lilith
Lucifer was silent as he stared dumbly at the woman he had loved for thousands of years. "Wha- I-" His brain couldn't properly make sense of what he was seeig. There's not way Lilith was actually staying right in front of him after all this time. Shaking his head, he turned away from her. "No. This is just in your head. You're seeing things," he muttered to himself. "Stupid. Stupid. Stupid."
