Aka if the Buried were a human.
They love wearing khaki. One of those people who can pull off bucket hats and long hair. LOVE beaches but it's more for who can build the best sandcastle than any real love for the ocean.
They also sleep with their head under blankets (MANY blankets) because the feel safest when cocooned under its weight.
Forever talking about archeology and obsessed with empires buried under millennia of dust. Any jewellery they wear is heavily inspired by these old kingdoms and places long gone.
They are calm and people tend to gravitate around them because they seem.... solid. And they tend to be saved as an emergency contact because of how dependable they are.
Not many people have seen them angry, but two of their friends decided to surprise them with a skydiving trip and regret it being a surprise. They didn't look scared. Not exactly. It's just that for a while the two remember being unable to breathe. And those brown eyes were not so much solid as coffin-like.
The coolest thing about them is their eyeliner. A lovely russet like colour, it looks brown under shadows and glimmers red under the light.
Note: VERY mixed set of thoughts and I fear a little unstructured, but I have been trying to think up headcannons for The Buried for approximately 4 months. And I feared that if I did not get this out, the series would die. So here 😭😃😔🥹 Do with this what you will.
