- All the planets died and resurrection beasts are born

- Resurrection beasts don’t have a set form so Alecto is earths resurrection beast in the form of human

- Alecto resurrects John a dead human for whatever reason (curiosity, company, etc.)

- Because John is resurrected on a thanergy planet now he is reborn a necromancer

- John and Alecto hang out for a time and he figures out necromancy with Alecto

- Alecto and John perform perfect lyctorhood and because Alecto is a resurrection beast with untold power this makes John into God

- John performs the great resurrection because of alectos power

- John for whatever reason locks up Alecto but doesn’t kill her because that would unmake him as God

- The other resurrection beasts sensing this turn on John as punishment or revenge for locking up one of their own, this would explain why John and the lyctors could hang out on earth and In The solar system for years without worry

- Harrow being made from 200 souls makes her a mini resurrection beast because she is a communal soul like them

- Alecto has abilities when it comes to harrow because they are connected because both are resurrection beasts

- Harrow mistakes this connection for love

I can honestly say, i haven't thought much on it, like... i think about it but more like... "i wonder what Tamsyn will end up doing with all of that" more than anything. I waste my theories on thinking what's Ianthe going to do next, will she ask Harrow to marry her like she said/threatened to do in HtN? will Coronabeth be a bigger part in the next book? what the hell happened to Gideon's body??? So yeah, basic stuff, the resurrection beasts are such a bigger concept and so... complicated, i just wait for when they reveal what actualyl happen in the book... 😅

No, but for real, what you said makes a LOT of sense, i could see how that can work, and how Harrow, being the product of 200 souls can be the equivalent of a mini-beast herself, and how her having Gideon as a "battery", being who she is herself, can make her even more powerful. I would love to see more of the connection that Alecto has with Harrow, since she seems to have been linked to her since she entered the tomb, i don't know if Harrow is really in love LOVE, with her or just smitten by her and that connection just... made everything more intense? God... i can't wait for Nona to come out already....

I haven't heard the polish ones but all the books have an official translation and audio book now and the guy does amazing voices and its so much fun! He's absolutely nailed some of the voices and accents, listening to him make geralt sing while talking to a mermaid made me bust outloud in laughter. Yennefer has such a haughty indifference voice in it and ciri has a wee accent. Also dwarves always sound welsh lol

Skipping baguette child is from the game Bioshock Infinite. The game is set in 1912 and you as a character are sent to a giant floating city that was built as a world fair attraction, but they seceded from the United States and became this utopian Christian society that worshiped the founding fathers and was super messed up the deeper you explored the world.

Is there a book of this? Like a tie-in novel? Because I want to learn more but I’m not much of a gamer.

I save every fic I've finished reading, and sometimes save some authors whole body of work if I like their writing style. I'm an archivist at heart, I've nearly 2500 fic saved and sorted since I started reading as a teen.
