TASTES: Heavy meats, smoked. Ginger and paprika. Honeysuckle. Sweat with a hint of copper and ash. The slow creep of heat after chewing a pepper. Soot. Scotch. The chilled, thin air of the mountains.

SMELLS: Gunpowder. Sawdust. The drifting scent of rain on wood. The sharp, bitter whiff of sulfur after striking a match. Smoke. Ozone. The clear, crisp air of higher elevations. Oil and metal. The rush of heated air and open ovens. Dogs.

SIGHTS: Callused palms. Gleaming steel. A whirring sharpening wheel. Glowing coals. Dusted cheeks and blackened fingertips. Strands of bright red, knotted, coming loose of its ties. Deep orange flame, licking with strips of yellow and blue. A breathing mass of dogs, flopped across a slumbering apprentice. Wide eyes on a child’s face. Torn pages, the delicate trace of ink long faded. Billowing clouds, heavy fog. Rows of swords, axes, daggers- assembled and in pieces. Clumps of steel, bars of iron. Red hot metal tips. An endless stretch of stars.

OUTFITS: Simple cotton shirt and pants, made for utility, not glamour. Heavy gloves. Safety goggles, fitted with hooks and dials and lenses for any situation. Heavy boots, toe to knee. No jewelry, as it would pose a hazard to both her job and her survival. Her belt is lined with small bags and tokens, from nails and beads to screws and bolts. A bag of about as many pockets. Battle-wise, she rides the front lines. Armor is heavy and steel plated. Beneath regular travelling attire, she wears a fitted leather chest piece and spun linen for “just in cases”.

SOUNDS: The shriek of blades sharpening. A hammer striking iron. The crackle of sparks on impact. The sharp hiss of steam. The deep breathing of a bellow. The ripple of warped metal singing through the air.  Murmur of a crowded market. A vendor shouting offers and requests. Shouting youth. A blade being drawn from its sheath. Taut bowstrings. Pounding feet. Battle cries.

what is your special talent / skill as a roleplayer ? : I'm well-aware of the danger of run-on sentences, so I try to make sure my sentences have cadence. what is your favourite type of roleplay genre and why ? : Fantasy/adventure, though I’ve enjoyed crime-fighting RPs as well lately. why did you pick your muse ? : I needed a Tolkien OC and she demanded herself into existence. if you could write any other muse, but know you don’t have the muse for him/her- who would it be ? : Special Agent Seeley Booth, from Bones. what would be your warning label to other roleplayers ? : WARNING: HAVE ALL THE HEADCANON what is your favorite episode / scene of your muse ? : This is going to sound really terrible, but @mikhailvalhidris and I wrote a scene where they fought wargs soon after they met, got hurt badly, and there were rescues and fluff and OHSHITNOPLEASEBEOKAYs. I reread it frequently. what crack ships do you have for your muse ? : Not sure if it’s crack really because it might actually work, but it could be a bit difficult, especially cause it’s a real character vs my muse. Fili/Stahl. She loves her dwarven friend, thank you, and that could extend beyond platonic relations as well. what is your senpai blog for someone who has the same muse as you ? : OC, so not my same muse, but @dwarvishlionheart (Fili and much the reason for my ship). She passed away in real life last year, but her blog is still up and I still adore it to pieces and remember her extremely fondly as a person and a roleplayer. one random fact you wish was a fact but isn’t : I am timely with my replies.
