"Have you any idea how persuasive you are? There’s little I could deny you when you’ve got me locked in a kiss."
"I have some idea."
Destroyed Happiness
Regina watched her world shatter as the man she was falling in love with rushed into the arms of another woman. Tears bit the backs of her eyes as she looked at Emma Swan, the woman who had ruined her life once more. With the final word, she looked at Robin before turning on her heels and rushing out of the diner.
Tears continued to sting her eyes as she strode down the sidewalk, stopping only when she reached the next alley. She turned into the darkness that had always been her friend and finally let the tears fall, quiet sobs wracking her body as she sank down to sit on the ground, knees tucked up to her chest, her face buried in her arms, back pressed against the cold wall of the building behind her.

Robin wanted to move at a pace Regina was comfortable with, and though he made overtures so she knew of his interest and intent, he would never presume to hurry things along, only wanting her to be comfortable. Now, things seemed to be falling into place, and he hummed his approval low in his throat, reaching out to stroke his fingers through her hair. “Your lips manage to feel perfect everywhere.”
Regina smiled up at him before pressing another kiss just below his navel. Deft fingers found the buckle of his belt and slowly unfastened it, moving to the button and zipper of his jeans next as she looked up at him. Before Robin, before tonight, Regina wouldn't have been able to admit her feelings first. But if she could change her destiny - if she could be a hero, she could certainly say how she felt about the man in front of her. "I love you," she told him, her voice confident but soft as she searched his eyes for reciprocation.

13: Stomach Kiss
Sitting on the edge of the bed, Robin standing in front of her, Regina ran her hands down his bare chest. She had her heart back. She'd been able to use light magic to defeat her sister. She wasn't one to move so quickly in a relationship, but this...she loved Robin, this much she was certain of. The brunette pressed soft kisses to his skin, just above the waist of his jeans along his abdomen.

*hugs and snuggles* I’m so sorry, darling. I know how that feels and it’s a terrible feeling. Your Belle is just THE Belle for me, always will be. <3

He was always careful with her; bold and flirtatious, but never demanding, never expecting more than she was willing to give. He would never touch her unless she condoned it, and he analyzed her body language extensively this very moment as he contemplated reaching out to touch her.
She looked tense, as though muscles had knotted around each hurt, each pain, holding it all within her irrevocably. Foolish though it was, perhaps, he believed he might be able to soothe, if even just temporarily, just for this moment. She deserved to know someone noticed, and wanted to help. Whether or not she would allow it, and it would be effective, was another matter entirely.
Robin made sure not to come up behind her, instead facing her with a soft smile. “I doubt very much you’ll admit it to me, but you really look to be in need of a shoulder rub.” Accompanying the words was a delicate touch, with his palm against her shoulder, though he waited to go any further.
Regina always knew when Robin was in the room. She didn’t think it was some strange six sense related to the tattoo on his wrist. It was just that he always watched her — never as subtly as he thought he did. Watching her face, seeming to study it, his eyes always catching the slightest movement of her hands or shift in her posture. She liked attention — lots of it — but occasionally felt like she was under glass.
He approached her now with the same caution she might use to approach an unfamiliar horse. Never from behind, never trying to touch without making sure the wild animal could see you were doing it. What was he looking for in her that made him watch her like this? Was this an earnest respect for her personal boundaries, or the actions of an experienced hunter with a caged animal? Did he think she’d bite?
Maybe this was how True Loves acted, she thought. They never touched you when you didn’t want to be touched. They watched you for the pleasure of looking at you, or to make sure you were alright. Regina’s mouth skewed in a momentary frown.
His question took her out of her own thoughts — which, as usual, had become brooding and uneasy.
❝What?” Then her neck and back gave a simultaneous twinge, and Regina realized how tense she’d been. ❝… Oh.❞ Her expression eased into a faint smile. ❝I, ah. I suppose I am.❞ That came easier with him. The smile, and the confessions, too. The chain of her usual paranoia broken, everything seemed perfectly logical: he had been watching her because he saw how tense she was. He was suggesting something that was very physical — so he made sure to approach and ask permission.
She wondered if he really couldn’t be measured according to her experiences with other men. Was it actually possible for someone to be unlike everyone you’ve ever known? She had always thought it was just a meaningless cliche.
