DISCOVERED: She spent years hiding her identity from the states and forging her own documents to escape the foster system.  When it came to the attention of the academy (after four years of successfully dodging them), they recruited her for her covert ops capabilities.

WEAKNESS(ES): Her lack of a family (she doesn’t like to be reminded that she’s alone) & asphyxiation 

BIO: Orphaned since birth, Emma grew up in the foster system.  She was forced from family to family for years, and endured her fair share of ridicule and abuse.  When she was fourteen, Emma ran away from her home.  She fell into a hard life on the run, but she met a man who excelled in forging documents.  She learned quickly how to forge for herself and it changed her life.   During the next four years, Emma changed her name many times and faked her age to avoid another transfer to a new foster home.  Her plans, however, began to fall apart when she was a few months shy of her eighteenth birthday.  The teachers at her school (after many months of being dodged by Rae Saxton’s parents) called the police to investigate the address on her record.  They quickly discovered that the address led to an abandoned house and found Emma inside.  Over the course of a few days, she ran, but they eventually found her.   The academy (through its channels) heard of her story and her multiple identities, they took her in to train her, to mold her in a way that she wouldn’t get caught again.

ALLEGIANCE TO AAE: Loyal.  AAE took Emma in and gave her a place to call home, despite the rivalry and competition.
