With great difficulty.  His vet tells me I cannot, under any circumstances, give him scraps from the table.  But as you can see, he has truly perfected the puppy dog pout.

Marley buzzed the strings of her guitar in frustration as she picked up her notepad and scribbled out the last three chord symbols. She wasn’t sure why she’d chosen such an odd progression, but she thought that if she didn’t have to worry about the underlying harmonies, the words would come much easier to her. It hadn’t been the case.

Marley put her head in her hands, resting the crook of the guitar against her collarbone. “I don’t think I’m cut out for this, Fi.”

When Fiona had asked Jemma to accompany her on a live music venture, Jemma didn’t know how to handle this. Like, sure, she totally wanted to sneak Fiona into a broom closet and have her wicked way with the absolutely gorgeous older girl, and TBH, she probably seemed super young and hot compared to Martian Rose who was a ripe old 22 compared to Jemma’s 21, but seriously, she didn’t think it would be this easy.

As the second artist of the Songwriter’s Showcase appeared onstage, Jemma was surprised to see Marley at the guitar and even more surprised that Fiona had asked her to come along with this. She guessed she was harmless, but really? She was Jemma Jean Sterling and she was a goddamn force to be reckoned with. In the bedroom.

“Ooh ooh ooh, there’s ya girl!” Jemma pointed, as she stood on her tiptoes in order to see above the crowd. “That could be me, but you playin’!” She teased, even though she wasn’t teasing. As the song began, Jemma scrunched her nose up. It didn’t sound like a sexy song she could seduce Fiona with, it sounded like a snooze. “Wait, this is the one Marley wrote? It’s so... depressing?”
