Omgomgomgomg I dig it so much. Shaggy and Scooby are the ultimate team and deserve their chance to shine through song. i’ve never been a huge bway fan or anything but i recently went to see the wicked musical and it was pretty okay so like save up your bucks, haley. you might just be missing out on something. or it might be terrible just like the percy jackson movies.

The Percy Jackson what now? SORRY IDK WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT that was a fever dream just like the ASOUE movie (not the show, that was A++++) and the creepy CGI baby from Breaking Dawn.

you know what they should make into a musical? scooby doo. i’d watch and poorly sing the shit out of the mystery inc goofballs and shenanigans. 

NO BUT OKAY PEEP THIS don’t a lot of musicals have at least one love song? Maybe I’m wrong but I feel like there’s always at least one love song. Just imagine the love song for this musical except instead of being about the lead dude and some girl he digs, it’s sung by Shaggy and Scooby bc the realest form of love is a kid and their dog. Then the big song at the end of the first half is called Meddling Kids, and it’s the gang singin’ bout how even tho they’re just kids, they’re here to save all of us.

The Lightning Thief. The reviews have been awful, but I guess that´s what happens when old, white men keep their jobs longer than they should and get to write about a crew of talented young people, who pulled all of this on their own and brought their creation to Broadway. You should definitely go see it, I loved it when it was Off Broadway.

Are the people reviewing it those super professional theatre people, or like... people who once wrote letters to Rick Rioadan with glitter gel pens back in high school when they were supposed to be studying for geometry? I totally mean what I said, I know next to nothing about theatre bUT I feel like with things like this, where its based on something that a bunch of people already love, then it should be less about how... idk, technically good it is and more about if the people who cried over the original love it? Obvi it should still try and be good because broadway babes def deserve it, but gosh darn it, I just wanna see one of my top five fictional trios kicking butt and deal with Luke’s betrayal.

sO idk anything about broadway, but a lil birdie told me that there’s been a Spongebob musical before, aND now there’s a Percy Jackson musical??? Have I ever seen either of those? Nope. Do I know the music? Nope. Are they any good? WHO KNOWS, NOT ME. I just know I’m gonna be in the crowd, bobbing my head along and waiting for someone to start singing about one of my main boys. Pls don’t disappoint me.
