Kole slipped out of his cabin, looking around nervously. After what had happened the other day, it was no secret that Teren and Theios were out for his blood. He was half-tempted to just let them, but the rest of him didn’t really want to be murdered, especially because he knew they’d make it hurt. He didn’t really know where to go, though. He didn’t want to be alone, but he didn’t want to put anyone at risk... He started walking aimlessly when the hairs on the back of his neck rose. He glanced over his shoulder and met a pair of hard blue eyes beneath a blonde fringe. He bolted.
Theios snarled softly as Kole took off running and he gave chase, not wanting to slip into the shadows in case Kole made a hard turn. Theios might’ve been more forgiving of anyone else, but he was already inclined to despise the son of Khione and furthermore, this had been Lucien, who, of anyone, deserved to be hurt the least. Theios hadn’t forgiven himself for it, he sure as hell wasn’t going to forgive anyone else.
