Everything for Hope up to now is Canon, I won’t be changing anything about her really. She had a crush on Josie, isolated herself for most of her school years, she is now friends with the Saltzman twins, dating or dated Landon depending on how things go. 

Being in the 6th/7th episode of the season 1, they were facing trouble with the Necromancer and with Jo being used against them when being brought back they decided that they wouldn’t allow him the chance to use anyone they loved against them again. So Hope, Lizzie, Josie and a playable OC witch at the school decided to break many rules by brining back the dead. 

It just so happened that while this happened the whole world went out of wack and the Salvatore school as well as other places in Mystic Falls ended up in Hope’s birthplace of New Orleans. She isn’t sure if they caused that but she doesn’t seem to mind either, she gets the best of both worlds in hopes that her parents would be brought back once more.

A life connected to those of the Original family was never going to be easy, nor simple.  Following Klaus and Elijah’s deaths, however, Davina thought she could be forgiven for assuming that things might get a little bit quieter - that she and Kol could begin living for themselves, planning a future.  And for a time, it seemed as if that might be the case.  And then the dead rose, and suddenly things were complicated all over again.  She had scant weeks to grow used to that idea when she found herself a resident of another dimension, one she could scarcely begin to understand.

More than anything else, Davina simply wants to go home.  To live the life that she promised herself, the one that was snatched away time and time again.  And whatever the cost of that goal might be, she’s willing to pay it.  Harvest Girl, Regent, Shunned, Stranger in a Strange Land - Davina’s done it all.  Broken sire lines, raised the dead, shaped the world.  If she can do all that, she can figure out how to get everyone home.  Whether they want it or not.

If there’s been a single certainty in Amanda’s life, it’s been love.  The absence of a father figure was hardly a concern for her growing up, not when she spent her time surrounded by Tara and Nic’s children and wrapped in the love of her mother.

The move to Atlanta was a big one, but despite the fact that they were away from everyone she’d grown up with she adapted with the grace of a child her age.  New friends came in the form of people she’d met at school, and even as Maya worked her way through college she was always a presence in Amanda’s life and never felt like an absentee parent.

Daniel’s presence in her life was accepted easily, but not without questions - a lot of questions.  Her inquisitive nature prompted her to ask whatever came to her mind, with no filter, and looking back she wonders how she didn’t scare him away.

When Maya remained in the bayou following Nic’s death she grew closer to Daniel, although it wasn’t without a little bit of acting out born of her age and the sudden absence of the formative presence in her life.  Never anything too bad, but definitely a shift in her behavior.

Amanda’s grief on learning of her mother’s death was all-consuming but quiet.  Everything of hers that Maya had ever owned, touched, or seen was quietly packed away in cardboard boxes until her room was virtually barren, and she didn’t speak of her loss - not to anyone but her siblings, and even then only in terse sentences.  Her high school graduation, shortly thereafter, was a muted affair that was left largely uncelebrated.

Being the oldest child meant being trusted with the news of her mother’s resurrection, but there was barely time to process it.  Only weeks later she’d been returning from a late movie when the ground swallowed her whole.  Emerging into a new world, her every thought was for her family.

Wyatt was different from the very start even from within the womb when he would heal his mother, keep her safe from harm and yes caused a little trouble with magic. Being born the twice blessed, being a witch and a whitelighter his power was sought after by good and bad, demons wanting to turn him the forces of darkness, which in one timeline actually worked and ended up with Wyatt being the supreme ruler of the world bringing the underworld to the surface.

With his younger brother Chris going back in time to ensure it never happened Wyatt’s future drastically changed and he became the good in the world that Piper and Leo had hoped. With the Angels of Detiny realizing they shouldn’t meddle in the lives of others they granted a gift on the Halliwell children; Wyatt, Chris and Melinda, that as the eldest of the Halliwell children they were supposed to be faced with great burdens. However time travel is a tricky beast and when they were on their way back to the year of his birth something happened, people from his time and from his parents time in 2004 were thrown into a new place. Kiera is the twin sister to Nicholas Nichols, born and raised in Mississippi among the Deep Water pack. Kiera always felt a tad out of place in the swamps and wanted a way out even at the expense of seemingly leaving her family and pack behind. Her father was the alpha of the pack till he died under suspicious circumstances, it didn’t take long for another to want to take his place, Kiera just would have liked it better if he didn’t marry her mother as well. Her stepfather was a man that made her feel slimly and she hated when he was around, therefore she made very excuse to end up as far as possible from him. 

It was how she ended up meeting and ending up in the arms of a wolf from another pack across the river. The crescent pack and her own had been at odds for generations over what just about any and every pack fought about, territory. Though she had thought her father was making moves to ease tensions before his death, that meant nothing when Clay took over things. Gabe was nothing but trouble in a number of ways for her but he was sweet and he seemed to really care about what she said and thought more so than how she looked. But they both had plans for their lives and worst of all it seemed Clay had plans his own. With her mother too old to give him any children of his own he set his sights on Kiera, willing to drop her mother and pick her up as a young bride. There was no running off with Gabe to be had, his plans of joining the military one day were too important to him and Kiera wanted out of the bayous. She wanted to see the world, she found that escape with a human man name, Kevin Richards. He was a wealthy business consultant who was in New Orleans on business when they met. Keira rather young at the age of 17 and looking for her way out of the swamps her mother worked an angle as well as Kiera’s natural beauty and charm, he offered to move her out to his mountain home in Colorado when her 18th birthday hit.

The young woman ran with her mother’s pushing and blessing, hoping that she was getting far from Clay’s reach. When she got to Colorado things were wonderful at first, her husband got her brand new everything having her throw away the hand-me-downs, took her out on dates, paid for her schooling in criminal justice, even threw a fancy wedding party for them.

However once the honeymoon had ended so did the kindness within her husband. He became aggressive, possessive and violent, however she wasn't raised to be some dainty flower, at first the change in him shocked her. She hadn't expected it and hoped it wasn't a regular thing but once it became all too common she took matters into her own hands.

It was only a couple months into the marriage when she found out she was pregnant, something that was meant to be happy news only brought a sickness to her. Simply put she knew that it was Kevin’s child. Doing the math in her dead she could only believe it was Gabriel Kenner’s. Unsure she wanted to tell him and unsure what to do about it in general, when she finally told him about the baby, leaving out the detail of another man being the father, she got mixed messages about if he was happy or not about it. One moment she was the light of his life giving him a child, the next he accused her of it being another mans.

A drunken night out for her husband brought him home, handsy and unforgiving, no wasn't an answer he wanted to hear and he attacked nearly six month pregnant Kiera. Running from him into the kitchen she grabbed the knife from dinner and got into a struggle with him before she finally plunged the knife into him, 6 times.

The knowledge she picked up in school and even her connections within the local department helped her hide the crime. After all there were plenty of places to hide a body in the mountains. The happy picture her husband painted for everyone only helped her look like the sad wife who couldn't understand where her husband went to. She hid her pregnancy from her family and loved ones in New Orleans till finally giving birth and seeing the baby up for adoption. Knowing full well she was in no state to take on a child, let alone allow herself the risk of holding who and what their father was against them.

Rumors of dangerous business associates getting to him spread and she played the long game of being the distraught wife till she was able to legally have him declared dead to rid herself of him completely. She stayed in Colorado for years joining the force officially and raising up the ranks, only going home to New Orleans for her brother’s wedding and the birth of a few of their children being the fun aunt who brought gifts bought with the money she got from her husband’s death.

She finally made the move to New Orleans because she used her connections through work to locate the baby she had given up 18 years ago. She doesn’t want to turn anyone’s life upside down but she did have a curious itch that needed to be scratched.

Ciaran was born in Avalon to a light faye mother and a shapeshifter father. His shifter form is a tiger. He grew up with his parent’s before his father disappeared and they presumed he was dead.

With the arrival of those from the mortal world, he feels conflicted. all the stories are that they should not be trusted but he is intrigued by them and wants to find out more about the realm they were meant to inhabit.

Here is the beloved idiot that is Damon Salvatore, he will remain canon as ever only now he has had years as a human, becoming a married man, human, a father. Damon has grown up a bit, gifting the Saltzman girls his playboy vintage car and getting himself a family man’s SUV to cart around his family. 

However living in Mystic Falls the threat of loosing his life was never completely out of the picture. While Damon knew how to protect himself and certainly took precautions against any threats, he couldn’t really avoid the senseless mugging outside of the Mystic Grill. Bleeding out before help could get to him, he left behind his wife Elena and their two young children, Stefanie and Grayson.

Being brought back from the dead two years later, Damon felt out of place and was unsure what was going on. Worried that it was much like the time the dead were brought back before the otherside crashed he wondered if he would be taken back to peace and rather than hurt his young children but showing up just to leave once more he stayed away.

Coming to Avalon he more than ever worried about his life, being human in a world of make believe, death could be around every corner and given his mouth it was likely to find him.
