It was definitely love at first sight, when they met that one night in the elevator at Clovis Bray Corp. Coco Bray was surrounded by exos all her life, but Cayde-6 was truly different. She couldn’t figure out if it was the way the handsome exo lazily leaned his back against the mirror and twirled the battered gun in his skilled gloved hand. His aquablue optics glowing bright, as his dark pupils dilated taking all of her in like a man starving. Beautiful. The most beautiful girl he ever laid his optics on. He wanted to say something. He didn’t know what he should say to her. He didn’t know if she would talk to someone like him. Thousand possibilities shot through his mind. He was desperately trying to reach for a sentence, or just a word, but it was too late. The doors opened and his mysterious beauty left the elevator. She turned around and quietly said goodbye with a smile, winking at the exo. His mechanic heart sped up. He melted inside. Cayde swore, the next time he would see her again he would say something. Anything. He wouldn’t let her get away so easily. Little did both know that they would see each other as often as they desired soon…
