Checking In with the Goblin King
Crystallin didn't know why Jareth was her favorite king to run errands to and for - it wasn't as if he acted as a particular way to her - but something about him made her smile by the time she left. While it wasn't her favorite job to run between kingdoms to help the kings and queens with errands and messages, it did give her a freedom of sorts; Jareth's labyrinth was amusing to visit to say the least.
She lounged on the divan boredly, waiting for the king in question to appear. No she hadn't announced herself, but she never had to wait very long. It didn't seem to anyway. Crystallin toyed with a bright orange curl, smiling at the twists and turns it took for a moment before she let her head fall back over the edge; she could hear a set of doors being opened not too far away. Sure enough Jareth strode in looking quite distracted. In fact he didn't seem to notice her at all.
"You look as though this is an inopportune time your highness. Should I come back later?" she asked with a sweet smile. It wasn't as if she'd wander far, but it was no good talking to him if he was upset. If he was deep in thought - she might be able to stay on the divan. It was quickly becoming her favorite seat in his quarters.
