Qrow first heard of the wizard in the middle of winter.

It wasn’t the first tall tale the tribe had ever gossiped about--a lot of superstitions sprouted up in the wilds of Anima, and wandering bandits tended to pick up on all of them. There were some pretty big whoppers out there: a witch who could see into the hearts of men, warriors who could obliterate Grimm with a stare, maidens with glowing eyes who brought good fortune…

And now a wizard who granted wishes. Yeah, right.

Some of them had a grain of truth in them--looked like Atlas’s mage-king and his spectral army were more than just talk, and while Faunus probably weren’t Grimm-spawn, Qrow was pretty sure he’d seen a guy with antlers one time.

And Qrow’s curse was real, of course.

Ahhh if that wasn’t enough of an indicator, it is what’s on the tin, an Ozqrow fairy tale AU XD

Qrow seeks the help of a mysterious wizard to get rid of the curse he’s had since birth, and while Ozpin isn’t able to directly remove it, he’s still able to grant him a gift that helps. But Qrow’s used to everything in his life having a cost, so he demands to pay his debt before the bill comes due. Ozpin humors him, and the more time they spend together, the more they realize they have in common...

8. Is what you like to write the same as what you like to read? ABSOLUTELY. I hope other people enjoy the shit I write, but I also write to make myself happy! And the stuff that I like to read is usually angst, hurt/comfort, whump... but I also like fluff and soft domestic romance, and silliness for the sake of silliness. These are all things I’ve written; I just have a rather obvious bias.

19.  Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?) There’s a sentence structure that I find myself repeating, and I fucking hate it: ‘ “I [verb] [action], and/but I let [bad thing] anyway.’ For example, a sentence I used in a drabble: ‘ “I knew Salem would be after Ruby, and I let the kids be bait anyway.’ For some reason, this sentence structure makes me want to gouge my eyes out and chug bleach at the same time lol.

Saw another ask about this and I grew up on Fae/Fairy stories from my Irish grandfather. Humans can't 'become' Fae but if they spend enough time in Fairyland they do become Faelike. Though not immortal their lives will be incredibly lengthened. But time does pass differently in their world. A few days in fairyland could be weeks or months or even years in our world. With all of that said, there are also plenty of stories where that isnt the case, so, write your comic in a way that's fun for you!

Still don’t know if Fairyland would ever make an appearance in this AU. I wonder if anyone’s even living in the fairy realm around Kells, given how utterly alone Aisling is…
