It was just the kind of day Joanna needed to relax and take some time off for herself. The past week had been a rather long and stressful one, and Joanna couldn't wait to go and wander around the city. The weather was lovely, the morning had started off well, and she knew that today was going to be a splendid day.
Until she had gotten onto the subway.
It's normal for subways to be crowded, she told herself as she tried her squeezed past the passengers. But never had she seen a subway so full and packed. Shrugging it off, she stood in the aisle and held onto the pole for support. Five minutes later, the train took off.
I'll be there in no time, she smiled to herself. And there's no rush, I have the whole day to -
Screams erupted through the train, breaking Joanna out of her thoughts. Instinctively, she turned to the source of the commotion. Standing at the end of the train were three masked and heavily armed assailants.
"EVERYBODY GET DOWN, NOW!" The one standing in the middle repeated.
