" The Last Empress is set in a hypothetical constitutional monarchy in 2018 and follows the life of a musical actress who marries the Emperor of the Korean Empire."

This is one of the most exciting and thrilling Korean dramas .The plot was intriguing with a lot of twists and turns which kept us moving to the next episode and the next and next... !!! This drama is a romance action mystery with political powerplay in the back. Of course Loved the Main Cast especially ,"Choi Jin Hyuk and "Shin Sung Rok"

Loved the story line since it's a mix of monarchy and the modern world. Totally invested in the storyline and the story just kept getting interesting by the minute. ! It takes the viewers through an emotional roller coaster. Happiness, Anger, Sadness and a little bit of humor here and there.

Ending was unexpected and a little bit disappointing since "Na Wang Shik's" death (#Fangirlmoment) was rushed and they didn't even show his face may be cause of some issues with the actor. But he deserve a little bit more than the ending. Also the Emperor's death was totally unexpected and heart breaking. All in all beautifully filmed and loved every episode of it. ❤😍💖

"The only time you fail is when you fall down and stay down." --Stephen Richards #TheLastEmpress ,gosh,im losing words how to describe how great this drama is till the near end,last night was just full of whirlwind of events & emotions.💙 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Kanghee was finally caught yet she never failed to lie.for a awhile,i love Yoon & Lee Hyuk( LH) tandem.the confrontation of the 4 was so intense,they were all amazing.Sunny's anger bursting,she's definitely nailing it,thats the last empress blood.LH was back as emperor & the truth about the asset was revealed,cool.Helro blunt proposal,whoa,love her girl power.LH,Sunny & Ari's family day out was moving & fun & heart pinching.the restaurant scene was warm.the horror room scenes was so witty,LH was so dang cute,haha,my loyalty to him.the photobooth,that was the loveliest.the car scene,aww,i feel LH on such. Yoora's past was so sad,so thats what happened,grr.
