Han Solo, Legacy Collection, 2009. This is one of the stranger Han Solo in (partial) “Stormtrooper Disguise” figures, as it comes only with parts of the Stormtrooper armor which Han to my knowledge is never seen wearing in this combination. Also the figure looks quite ridiculous if you put on both, the Stormtrooper torso peace and helmet together. The figure itself is the same as we got for other versions of ANH Han, the head sculpt however is different and as far as I know only reused once again for the later Yavin Ceremony figure from TVC. In fact if you could swap the (unfortunately not removable) Stormtrooper belt for Han’s holster and add the medal on his neck, you would have the exact TVC Yavin Ceremony figure (and my reason why I bought this figure years ago, as the Yavin Ceremony figure was way harder to find. Little did I think about the Stormtrooper belt though). Another reason why I bought this figure was the head sculpt, as it looked so very different from every other Han Solo head so far and at the same time still looked very much like Han, but differently if that makes sense. Probably not one of the most versatile Han figures because of the belt but certainly the very figure you need, if you want to re-enact the Death Star escape scenes in 3.75” scale. While the 6” Han Solo figure gives you an optional belt to swap, you need to swap entire figures in this scale for the same effect. The head pops off easily to allow putting the armor on and off and the bomb on the belt pops off all too easily, too. Also noteworthy is how the white parts of this figure (which has been mint on card until a few hours ago and always kept in dry and dark places) didn’t age well and show some yellowish discoloration.
