✪㉨✪ [Lian and uncle Joey are my favorites ok]
describing eyes || accepting 5ever tbh
He can see both of her parents in her eyes–green flecks from Roy, darker brown from Jade, mixing together into hazel. Alright, maybe that’s not exactly how eye genetics works, but there’s the idea.
Joey’s had a… complicated relationship with Jade. They didn’t get off to a good start and they haven’t had a chance to get to know each other much beyond that. Roy, on the other hand, Joey undeniably counts as a friend, one of his most trusted ones.
But he’s not looking at her parents’ eyes. He’s looking at Lian’s. Hazel eyes staring up at him (even when kneeling, he’s still a fair bit taller than she). In awe of the cat he’s painting for her. Squinting almost shut when she laughed at the paint getting on his face.
He sees her eyes narrow in focus as she fingerpaints on her own canvas, not having the skill he does, she still treats it like she’s making the Mona Lisa. And he applauds like she’s painted the Sistine Chapel every time. And her eyes light up, glittering with joy.
There’s some of her father and some of her mother in her eyes, but mostly there’s herself in them. And he looks forward to seeing who’ll she’ll grow up to be.
(✪㉨✪)
send (✪㉨✪) for my muse to describe your eyes
“Your eyes?” Billy said sitting across from her looking into her eyes . “Well they are a brown deep enough to fall into. They are like... like” He grinned thinking of the perfect description. “Like a mug of hot chocolate after a day playing in the snow.”

“Because I don’t look like daddy.” Her voice was quiet and reluctant as she looked up at her Jayjay, “Lizzie from school says m'adopted..”
❝ Well, sweetie, Lizzie from school is what we’d call a brat. ❞
Jason pursed his lips and picked her up, settling her on his hip so he could hold her with one arm, and cook with the other.
❝ Roy’s your dad, but your mom’s Asian-- like me. That’s why you don’t look exactly like him, but. Wanna know how we know for sure you’re his daughter? ❞
@thelittlearrow
“You want to share it with me? Uh thats alright..” Billy looks at the very dirty piece of cake Lian had been playing with which was now being thrust towards his face. “No you keep it.” Her hand reached farther and pushed it at his cheek smearing it all the way to his jaw smearing it.
🍰
send 🍰 to smear cake all over my muses face.
Billy grinned over the tipped over table in the very dirty kitchen that he and lian had ‘accidently’ started a food fight in. He peaked over but didn’t see lian anywhere. Oh no. He turned around with a fist full of rice and got cake promptly smeared across his face. He wiped it out of his eyes throwing the rice at the retreating girls back.
@thelittlearrow
“Hey Lian I heard you had a bad day at school. Can I help? Do you want a hug?"
