The contrast between Coach Wiebe asking/telling Ilya "Is it serious? You and Hollander... No way a kiss like that was a joke" and Coach Theriault asking Shane "Was it a joke?" After the whole FanMail reveals the big contrast between the experiences of Shane and Ilya after being outed and how Shane's team is THE representation of the hockey world
Scene idea. After the Halloween party, we know Shane shows up plugged and ready to ride. He walks in, the kissing, the joy, then he admits he's had the plug in for the entire ride over. He's always been a hair trigger. Ilya pushes him face forward against a wall, falls to his knees.
We see his hands gripping the top of Shane's ass cheeks with a slight spread. Ilya leans forward and kisses both of those back dimples (or a slow lick). Stands, removes the plug (implied of course with hand/arm motion), Shane arches, moans, then we hear the thump of the plug hitting the floor. Ilya grabs Shane's hair, kisses his shoulder, and says, "Yes?". Shane replies, "Please. Need you." Then we see Ilya, single thrust, balls deep, both moaning. Ilya says, in Russian "I love you, Kitten." Then proceeds to fuck him into the wall.
Chapter 22, The Long Game.

He stepped back, and watched Shane’s eyes widen. After a moment, Shane’s lips parted as if he had something to say, but Ilya didn’t want to hear it. “Go home,” Ilya said. “Please.” Then he turned and walked quickly upstairs.”

The story begins with Josie, (like her newly discovered half-sister in the previous book), put in a position to bend over backwards to try to please their utter POS father (which aggravated me immensely).

I wanted to like The Fiancé Dilemma; I really did, after enjoying the author’s The Spanish Love Deception but this was painful to read. I found the FMC to be extremely immature, the premise was flimsy and unbelievable. I struggled through this.
