Welcome to Latveria l @thelostapprentice l starter
“It’s not often we have outsiders in Latveria, most of the ones who do come are of two types; a guest prisoner my father has procured or a caped crusader here to stop whatever nefarious plan my father has concocted.”
Kristoff crosses his arms and leans against the stone wall as he looks at the new face within Castle Doom.
“So tell me which are you?”
How soft are you:

You’re losing your touch, old man. Getting sentimental about protecting little families in intergalactic marketplaces is not how you defeat the monster currently destroying said intergalactic marketplace. It is how you get a fucking concussion for your troubles, though.
He looked up, sighing and with shaking hands pushing the wide tent beam away so that he could uncover both himself and the family he’d saved. As soon as they were clear and wisely running in the opposite direction, he turned back toward the tribe of goliaths that was currently making a mess of what was supposed to be a goodwill diplomatic and cultural exchange between several tense galactic quadrants. Which made it a big enough mess to call in the Sorcerer Supreme to clean up.
Time to crack on, old man. The monster is waiting.
He didn’t even bother brushing himself down, instead making a beeline for the heart of the destruction, only pausing to help instruct people on escape routes as he drew closer. Some people were resisting - that did tend to happen when you fucked with galactic quadrants that were heavily pro-magic - but they weren’t making enough progress to keep the fair from being mostly in shambles. If he had enough energy when this was all finished, he’d see what he could do about that.
For now, he settled himself with throwing out a shield to protect some of the resistance when one of the goliaths turned on them with brutal swiftness. They weren’t especially intellectual, but they did excellent work at wreaking havoc. Brute squads tended to, and that’s all these really were. Brutes for hire, willing to go and stir up trouble at any party for the right price. They’d just picked the wrong party to crash.
The resistance cast him grateful glances, and once the goliath flattened back on its ass realized what happened, another one was barreling his way. This time, however, he didn’t have to cast his own shield, and a glittering one came up between he and his attacker, again repelling the giant with comical emphasis. He looked to the source of the spell, glad that the shield spell lingered because given how awestruck he was, he sure as hell wasn’t in any shape to defend himself for a good, long, pregnant moment.
“Casey?” Her name came out tender, predominantly because he was too fucking choked up to get all of his emotions packed into that one word. It would be impossible to, and now sure as hell wasn’t the time for grand speeches, but talk about a hell of a time for a reunion of this scale.

thelostapprentice answered your ask “I’ve been waiting all month for these horror movies!”
He laughed, as he stepped into their living room, big bowl popcorn in hand. “The kids are out, right? I’d rather not go through what happened last time we let’em watch a horror flick.”

💀 - “Where’s you get that one?” Johnny asked, noticing a scar he’d never seen before. “Is that new?” he pressed, a frown on his lips. “Looks rough...you alright?”
“You look pale… sit down.”
💀 - “...it’s because I’m a skeleton....but sure. I’ll have that seat.”
❛❛ I took your hoodie and I’m not giving it back. ❜❜
"Oh come on, Casey, it’s Sunday!” He griped, wrapping his arms over his chest both to warm himself and look disapproving that she’d stolen his favorite sweatshirt. It was from the NYC Shakespeare In The Park organization, and about one of the only possessions he’d kept from his previous life. He’d adopted a few inferior others from thrift shops, but none of them that bore the softened work of his PhD days.
“Sunday is lounge wear day, and it’s not fair if you’re stealing half of my remaining clothing options.” He shivered a bit, but did his best to hide it as he glared at he and his traitorous fleece jacket. “Come on. Please don’t make me borrow Wong’s terrible Harold & Kumar hoodie, therefore making him angry at me, and then angry at you for making me steal from him.”
