A thousand years felt like forever to the young man. To his knowledge, his race was wiped out, except for another boy. Much younger than himself and the sole surviving human within his own generation.
They took a day to battle easy monsters to get exercise after eating pizza and playing video games the night before. Aiden sat on the boulder as Finn raised his sword to the next monster.
Another monster crept up behind the blonde, unbeknownst to him, but the older human clearly saw. He took his gun, aiming and shooting the creature right in the head. The gunshot was enough to scare the rest of them away.
“Sorry for no warning, man. It was right behind you.” He jumped down to the dazed boy.
“Nah, it’s cool. That thing is crazy accurate, though. Could I give it a try?”
Aiden glanced at the large gun he had in hand. Grinning enthusiastically, he patted his back. The boy would surely cause havoc without proper training with the weapon. It was different from a sword. “I can teach you, but with smaller guns first.”
Tip: If you're going to enter the Adventure Time contest, don't submit on of your OC's. The rules state that the submitted piece become property of Little Orbit and Cartoon Network. Just in case you, or anyone else wasn't aware
IMO, that's not really a problem. The OC I had in mind submitting is too tied with AT for me to do much with her, and if I disconnected her from AT, the changes for that to be done would be so big, she wouldn't really be the same chara.
But its cool, I'm thinking of designing some other character atm :)
