Whats going on with mxrp?

how far back u wanna go cuz its been a shitshow since like june 

basically 

in the beginning: MASSIVE downtime, kept being extended for like a month, people were desperately confused so devs made a discord 

devs explain theyre taking down logs. mass disapproval ensues. devs say logs will be moved to an archive site 

discord communication leads to massive spike in devs patreon. they set up a kickstarter for a new site and new servers. kickstarter exceeds its goal by quite a bit but a massive percentage of donators fail to pony up. this is a problem bc the devs are already contracted on the new servers which are expensive 

last few days: devs announce the log server will be paywalled (via patreon perk) to help make up the financial difference. mass disapproval ensues, leading to thellere, the only person running tech support afaik, to step down. the site is now completely adrift and its fate is uncertain 

the devs apparently also took personal offense to people saying theyd pay for one month and just save their logs offsite, as if they werent the ones who made us distrust them with OUR SHIT THAT WE SHOULD OWN IN THE FIRST PLACE 

also everyone is calling anyone who disagrees with thell a pedophile 

i think thats the gist of it

“I— I’m Dipper, your great-nephew,” Dipper’s voice was cracking and he was trembling now, half-hoping Ford to snap out of whatever state he was in any moment and terrified either way. “D-do you know where you are?”

Ford paused, looking around the dreary room with a curious glint in his eyes. There were some odd looking machines lining the wall, casting a green light around the room, which was cluttered with bits of paper and books and notes, but behind those sat tapestries and statues and crystals and— He wasn't sure what purpose the triangular symbols served but looking at them made his brain feel like it was on fire.
