What would happen if I gave all my creatures menace and some how gave all my opponents' creatures "must block if able"? My gut says they never have to block because menace complicates things.
All of your opponent’s creatures would still have to block as long as they have at least two creatures that can block. They can use them to block different creatures (with at least two creatures each) or pile them all on one creature or anything in between.
After the story is done, can we get a debriefing on why you swapped Kaladesh and Amonkhet blocks?

How does Devoid interact with the tokens The Scarab God makes?
When the Scarab God’s ability creates a token copy of a card with devoid, the copy won’t have the Devoid ability.
The “except it’s a 4/4 black Zombie” part of the ability means that the copied cards P/T, color, and creature type characteristics aren’t copied at all, and neither are any abilities the card might have that defines any of those characteristics.
This means that a copy of a Tarmogoyf won’t have the P/T defining ability, a copy of a devoid creature won’t have devoid, and a copy of a creature with changeling won’t have changeling.
I am trying to wrap my mind around how blocking multiple creatures effects combat damage. Let's say I have a Grizzly Bear (2/2) and Brave the Sands out. My opponent attacks with two Grizzly Bears and I block both of them. Does anything survive?
One of the bears you’re blocking lives. Your bear only has 2 damage to deal, so you have to choose a damage assignment order for the two creatures being blocked and can’t hurt one later in the order until all previous ones have been assigned lethal damage.
Looking for some trivia on Hedron Crab, please.
Hedron Crab is one of my favourite cards of all time. I think I played it the whole time it was legal in standard. It’s such an explosive card, especially in a format with fetch lands, and using it for self-mill strategies with Vengevine was awesome. That was probably my favourite standard deck of all time, I think.
Today I take a trip down memory lane as I re-read all of the Words of Wisdom I did from early 2008 to 2011 for the then barely-limping along SocialGrounds.com.
