Hey everyone, I recently decided I wanted to start revamping my existing themes to make them better and easier to use. Here’s a list of things I plan to do for each theme (if they don’t already have that thing already):
Add customization notes at the top of the code
Add favicons (forgot to do this before heh)
Add lightboxes for higher res images when clicking on them
Make them a bit more friendly for mobile / non popular screen resolutions
Just a note that I suggest using the official Tumblr mobile theme for the themes I have now, most aren't mobile friendly at all and still won't be completely mobile friendly after these revamps
Max eight links on all themes (if possible)
Fix options to make them easier to understand/use
For example, the post sizes will be a dropdown instead of multiple toggles
Fix tooltips
Add/remove infinite scroll (probably the latter, haven't decided yet, inf scroll is hard to work with)
Better load times
Replace default like/reblog buttons with more stylized ones
General appearance fixes
Just better code (I'm looking at you, you old themes)
I'll begin with themes 19 and 17 and then ask which ones you guys want to be revamped next. For now, let me know if there's anything you'd want me to add to this list and I'll see what I can do!
