Unnested Reblogs Outline
I recently made my first theme with unnested reblogs / reblog chains, meaning each reblog is posted underneath the previous one, rather than in a series of blockquotes. I’d never done a theme like that before and it was a pretty steep learning curve, since the formatting is slightly different for each post type. And as much as I searched, I could not find clear documentation to set it up anywhere and had to figure much of it out myself via trial and error.
Still, I’m happy to report that after spending the better part of two days, I finally have an outline that displays properly for every applicable post type!
Since I’ve never seen this posted plainly anywhere, I thought I would go ahead and share mine, in case someone else finds it useful. This code is just the various post types. It has no classes and no styling just the elements and blocks in the correct order, with labeling to assist you in customization.
