My blog has no theme. Sometimes I'm posting poetry or quotes from my writing. Sometimes I'm complaining about girls that broke my heart. Sometimes I'm simping over girls that are too pretty to be allowed. Sometimes I'm ranting about the books I'm reading or whistfully wishing I was a shadowhunter. There's just no consistency.

“We could be together forever,” she said with delight, “No one could ever tear us apart again!
He didn’t mean to step back, but he did. Her eyes narrowed into sharp deadly slits.
“I, uh,” he stammered, “Look, there are better ways.”
She turned on her heel and in an overly desolate tone, she cried, “You must not love me if you’re not willing to die for me.”
“I do love you!” he grabbed her wrist, “But this...? Jules....”
“They want to tear us apart,” Juliet said, her hands balled into fists. “If they won’t let you have me, then no one will. But I don’t want you to sneak around and steal another heart, so please, Romeo, just come with me.”

You have extreme social anxiety, so going out to parties isn’t something you do on a normal basis. However, the one time a friend manages to drag you out, you end up taking some hardcore drugs and end up in a twisted kind of Wonderland. The only difference? It’s a Steampunk Wonderland.

Some ideas you get, and they stick around with you for awhile. Some ideas can be a flight of fancy that you entertain, and then you drop it. And then there's...um, Broken Angels. An idea that I have little to no recollection of, despite the amount of work I clearly put into it.
And that's rather shocking given how recent this idea was! According to the original project files for these images, they date back to September, 2021. Just three years ago! I got ideas from the mid 2000s that I can still recall off the top of my head! In any case...
What little I do remember of these images was that they were for some kinda...webcomic thingy. Like I can vaguely remember the format it was supposed to take; Long page (think WebToon format) with a string of free form panels, and it would've been a pastiche of like...live sim/tamogatchi games? And there's a text box like it's a Windows 98 command prompt? I couldn't find any written documentation for this idea, so I haven't a clue what the theming or story would've been. I suppose it would've had a horror element, given how unsettling that mirror portrait is. But I'm just...drawing a blank on this one.
