It’s been four years or so and I still feel guilty for missing a friend’s birthday party quite literally because I fell asleep. Like wtf me.
themultifandomgiraffe replied to your post “I really wanna see The Martian but I also don’t want to subject myself...”
tbh it was really dry and lacked like 75% of what made the book amazing. but i'm still kinda glad i watched it??
mm. I mean, I may give it a watch (I mean I saw Legend and I really hope nothing can disappoint me more than that), but it’s certainly not on my list of priorities. I will probably pick up the book sometime soon because I can 100% get into that and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.
Hey! I've seen some of your posts about Grimm lately and I was wondering 1-10 how much I need to watch it? I saw that a deaf actress I like is in an episode so I'm sort of kind of interested!
A 9.5 easy.
Top Three Reasons Being:
The consistent and fantastic way they adapt fairytales - I might only be like 1.5 seasons in (out of a current four) but I’m always impressed on the creative spin they give to these adaptations. It’s a lot less boring than many modern adaptations I’ve seen.
The characters - One thing that really stands out with the characters in this show is that everyone gets some development. I mean, secondary and even minor characters are fleshed out in all these little ways that give you a clear idea of who they are as people. Like, a lot of other shows wouldn’t handle it all so well, but this show does. Though admittedly I’d love a few more lady characters in it (the ones they have a great, but like please give me more of this awesomeness).
The mythology - I really enjoy the way they’ve created the mythology and the consistent nature of it. Some shows just love to fuck around with it and ends up being horribly inconsistent (*cough* supernatural *cough*), but Grimm is always so beautifully consistent and works to expand on the mythology they’ve initially presented instead of totally reconstructing everything every few episodes.
So yeah in conclusion watch Grimm it’s a super fun show to watch. Totally worth your time.
Never eat nachos on your period
It’s a mistake
Once you get this you have to say five things you like about yourself, publicly, then send it to your ten favorite followers. (Non-negotiable) (positivity is great)
Curse you! Ok I’ll do it.
1. I cut and color my own hair (and the rest of my family’s hair) and it usually turns out really well.
2. I’m a singer and I have a really good belt.
3. I’m social and can strike up a conversation if need be and it’s usually not uncomfortable.
4. I’m always ready to give advice if I need to because it shows me that people value my opinions enough to ask. (I’m usually pretty competent when giving advice)
5. I’m pretty good with makeup, but I’m hoping to just get better and better with it.
Ah! That was more difficult that I thought it might be. Thanks for sending this my way :)
i see that you watch how to get away with murder! Isn't Wes like the biggest cutie patootie ever?
Yes! There was one scene when he was standing in the doorway to his apartment in this gauzy yellow light and I was like WOAH NOW.
Tag! Say ten things about yourself and then send this to ten of your favorite followers!
Ooh! Okey dokey then…
1. I eat gluten free which gets annoying often and I hate it most of the time.
2. I’m almost 4’9” but I haven’t quite made it there yet.
3. I recently kissed a cute boy which was very exciting.
4. I love nachos, specifically from Buffalo Wild Wings.
5. I hate leaving my house without makeup on, so sometimes I just put on my eyebrows and go.
6. I’m currently sick and chugging Throat Coat.
7. I counted once and found I was a part of over 50 fandoms.
8. I own almost 100 bottles of nail polish.
9. I have a foot headway under my bed so I keep a blanket and a body pillow down there at all times so I can roll under and watch tv episodes without being bothered by my family.
10. My phone cover is a pig with a crown and her name is Peppa.
