Discord System Server

I’m really new to discord and don’t know anything about it but I’ve seen other systems make servers for their system and I really want to do that for us. I just don’t know how and I have a lot of questions about how to do it. So if any systems who have made servers have the patience to answer all of my lengthy questions lol, please dm us! Thanks :)

Some Thoughts

you know what i find interesting? the more we dig into our childhood to try and heal and the more we let ourselves experience and heal from whats happened to us we realize that our names are similar to the names we experienced, friends we had at the time or the shows we watched or even the pets we had.

like for instance my names peaches and our family had rented a pony by that name for the summer when we were very young. our best friends mom was named vanessa and the vanessa in our system is a mother figure to the child alters. we had gone to a christian school and we have alters with names that occurred in the bible (two examples are eden & Ezekiel). the list goes on and on.

and its interesting to us that the more we talk about things with people we knew then and the more information we get about the good parts of our childhood, the more names we find out our similar to postive people and aspects that were in our life.

idk i just kinda thought it was interesting and i’ve been thinking about it alot lately. it makes sense that the names we were exposed to during certain time periods were given to people that split off during those time periods.

idk if any other systems have noticed things similar to this or anything but i just wanted to write my thoughts out. :)

just wondering your opinion on the youngest somebody might be able to know they have DID/OSDD. There's a kiddo that just joined a support group I'm part of and they're 15 and they suspect they have OSDD-1b. Do you think that's too young for them to even be suspecting?

i think that everyone has completely different life experiences and no one knows for sure unless its shared with them what a persons life is like or has been like. i dont know if they have any other mental health struggles or if theyve been through abuse. i dont know if theyre out of an abusive situation or still in one. i dont know what their childhood was like either. i know that weve always had symptoms just like every other system, missing time, coming to in unfamiliar places, handwriting differences, feeling disconnected from our body, and all the other symptoms as well(naming every symptom would be overkill lol). Thinking back to when we were little and realizing all the symptoms that we had thought of as “normal” that we had experienced for as long as we can remember werent “normal”, its not an uncommon experience. most people think theres nothing wrong with them at one point or another whether its because of denial or because they dont know that theyre reality is different and damaging, or because of something else. theres a lot of variables and i think if given the right circumstances people can become aware of their mental health struggles at almost any age. i feel its not for me to be the judge of what is or isnt going on in their life, or what they have struggled with/are struggling with or havent/arent. i do think that they should be given the time and space to figure it out as well as the resources and support. finding a dissociative disorder specialist to contact and get help from would be a great idea for them if they are safe and supported. talking to a parent/guardian or someone else they trust who is a legal adult and can help them would be a great idea too. i think that the most important thing isnt whether or not they have a dissociative disorder but that theyre supported and safe. if it turns out theyre wrong, they could still have ptsd/cptsd or other mental health struggles and as long as they arent hurting anyone/themselves i dont think theres any reason they shouldnt be trying to figure themselves out. i hope i answered your question well enough lol and that i didnt ramble on too much :) — Bean

Mara’s Intro

Im Mara Vegas. Im a demon. Im Taken. My role in the system is a bit complex. I used to be a protector, then i was a persecutor, now im in between.

Im sadistic, sarcastic, apathetic.  

I dont have any real hobbies although im argumentative. I like arguing. I find it funny. does that count ?

there really isnt much to me.

Mac and I have known each other for a very long time. We used to be best friends. nowwww. not so much. birch and i get along i guess. she takes after me even if we arent related. she always has tried way too hard to impress me though. and follows me around like a lost puppy. but whatever. 

Sora I practically raised although she ended up nothing like me or Birch. 

She ended up like Mac surprisingly. 

Birch, Sora, and Mac are siblings. Sora the youngest, Mac the oldest. 

I was just around a lot. Practically moved in at one point. 

I honestly dont know what the hell to say. 

there really is nothing interesting about me.
