favorite sign at the protest today was “UNPAID PROTESTOR (I HATE HIM FOR FREE).” it was a big crowd but very lowkey with lots of kids. now we are home and I am sooo tired I think the direct sun just took a lot of out me even though it wasn’t that hot. baby is napping now and I need to make a grocery list so I can cook something for dinner tonight. also I finished my most recent book (anne tyler’s three days in june which was so so sweet and moving - thanks @carrotcupcake for the rec) so I need to figure out what I’m reading next. recs welcome as always!

He just loves these balls soooooo much! It's puzzling why he doesn't love the lime green one I bought him. It seems a bit smoother, maybe he just likes the rougher texture of these old balls. Jake's balls. 😭 But if I grab the green one and throw it, he usually won't chase it. Can he really tell its the lime one when I throw it???? Like, he thinks in his head, 'oh its that ball I don't like, not worth chasing!" ITS A GOOD BALL, BLU!!!!

One week later, though a struggle of blood, sweat, and tears as I crawl my way out of my writing slump and through the downswing of my depression, my klance concert oneshot comes crashing through the gates at a total of 29k words. Is anyone really surprised at this point? You shouldn’t be.

Now all that’s left is editing. It’ll probably be a few days before posting, but it’s on its way.
