I have been binge watching Steven Universe for the past week to deal with insomnia and I’m super tempted to draw a bunch of fanart that I will ultimately never finish.

EXPERIENCE. HOW LONG HAVE YOU ROLEPLAYED ON TUMBLR: Since 2012

PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED: Tumblr and Skype 

BEST EXPERIENCE: Getting a chance to write and develop characters with different minds from all over the world; people whom I would never have had the chance to meet naturally without the internet.

MUSE PREFERENCES. FEMALE, MALE, AGENDER, OR GENDER VARIANT: Most of my Muses are males. I have Flip, of course, but she is outnumbered, heh.

MULTI OR SINGLE: Single. I add background characters and secondary as needed if the situation calls for it, but I prefer one Muse per blog for myself. I do RP with people who have multi-muse, and I have nothing against them.

WRITING PREFERENCES. FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT: Angst and fluff are fine. I don’t publish smut. To be honest, I love a bit of silliness here and there with serious characters because it throws them off. There is actually quite a bit of behind the scenes fluff between Lily and Severus, and it is adorable. LONG OR SHORT REPLIES: I am partial to mid-length/long replies in threads, but for Asks I tend to keep things fairly short. So if you’re looking for short responses, better to RP through Asks and not reblogs. ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE: I’m a little bit like all of my Muses, sure. I identify with Snape in a lot of ways in the things he endured growing up and with how irritating it can be to teach people who don’t pay attention (though I was teaching story-boarding and sequential art classes, and I am a fair sight better at keeping my temper in check).

Stranded (RP with thenameshank)

{♖}—; Spyro had no idea what had gone wrong, they was going through a portal to visit a world he had been planning to visit a while but instead ended up in a place he’d never seen before.

The portal had closed behind him, trapping him here unless activated once again. He put something in front of the archway, knowing he couldn’t let anyone see it as he didn’t know what to expect in this place. Though upon taking a walk down the halls he saw it was just an aquarium. Not exactly the kind of place he was expecting, but he knew he should stay here a while and check the portal every now and then.

The young dragon explored a bit, taking a look outside and seeing it was dark out at the moment, but the sun was just starting to rise. He decided he should find a place to stay for now.

Gill trashed and whipped about, overcome with a painful rage. He didn‘t want to know where he was. He didn’t want to see it. He hit the edge of the container that held him with his snout... stabbing it, scratching it, as if he could pierce it.... he knew he wasn’t really going to do any damage, but he didn’t care.

He had let himself get caught again. No, THEY caught him again: humans, he loathed them, he despised them, it was always their fault... But there it was again: that undeniable feeling of shame and self-hatred, like somehow it was his shortcoming for being captive so often.....

He didn’t want to pay attention to what was going on around him. But without warning, something happened that was hard to ignore: The water around him shifted, as if his container had halted in mid-motion. Then, gradually, he felt gravity shift... the water changed direction... and began to pour.

He held his breath. Barely a second later, he felt himself fall in mid-air, and-- splash-- he hit the surface of a new body of water.

Gill shook himself and blinked, trying to get his bearings. Eventually his head cleared, the world around growing less and less blurry. He looked around him, taking everything in:

A solid floor beneath him.... walls of glass around him.......

A tank. It was another tank.

Gill let his body go limp. He slowly drifted to a bottom corner of the tank, practically burying himself there. The last thing he saw before hiding his face and blotting out the world, was a little tag, stuck to one of his fins.

~Do You Have the Time~

The seconds ticked by into minutes all too slowly for Professor Snape’s taste. Yes, he’d arrived at the predetermined location early, but his palms itched with anticipation of the relic he sought to acquire. Most would gladly be rid of it. Collectors of a certain caliber, however, would gladly take such an item on, if only to utilize it for traps and protection.

A pub would have been too noticeable of a meeting spot, so for the moment, he picked through the aisles of a book store in Knockturn Alley. The owner knew better than to ask questions as long as his pockets were lined with a galleon or two for the trouble of keeping his mouth shut.

“You have the pocket watch?” Snape asked quietly when he heard footsteps approaching behind him.

Wait for it to look away. Move. Repeat.

If only looks could kill. Then this octopus would have been dead long before now, and the great white would have had a partially filled stomach. Serena had been observing the cephalopod for a full hour now and the passing time only caused her stomach to lurch and twist with such agony, it was a wonder her frustration hadn’t caused the shark to propel herself forward, jaws snapping in fragile hope of catching anything. No. Patience was needed on any hunt. And even though she was without her band of other whites sharks, this hunt was no different than others.

Serena kept still, watching the strange creature blend into and out of its surroundings, testing herself to see if she could still catch sight of its true form. She would need that experience before she could make her move…
