It’d been an accident, a simple mistake in her own fault. But here they were, thanks to the young woman’s idiotic action of reading from a black magic book aloud, she and her son appeared to be in a forest. Neither had a clue, whether they were still within their own homeverse, until that is, Inc managed to find a way out of the dense foilage.
It was clear that this world of anthropormorphic, pokemon, and animals, was far from her own. The little half demon on her back had no idea what anything was, gazing with his large, opal-like eyes, he clearly hoped that his mother found somewhere safer and, closer to home. She noticed that many, especially the pokemon looked at her suspiciously until she kept her claws on display, making hem look like gloves, fused to her skin. Maybe human’s weren’t a welcome species here, it wouldn’t surprise her.
A smell in the air caught her attention pretty quickly however, and she was relieved to see a very cosy cafe, the smell of freshly baked bread was clear to both her and the hungry boy clinging to her.
“C’mon Razzy, I bet a good meal and a drink’ll help us figure out how to get back, won’t it?” she smiled, nuzzling him lovingly as she made her way inside. Though not a carrier of much human currency, she had a few pieces of gold and silver, something that seemed to be acceptable nearly anywhere she went. Approaching the front with a tired look in her eye, she gazed at the menu, then at her son
“Uh, two milks...The soup and, some cake if you do it, please?”
It sounded as though she’d been trudging along nonstop, and she was a little out of it, but she figured a little rest stop would liven her up a tad.
