They say how wonderful this is because it means that all the energy that people create with their love will survive forever. Except that love is not a phenomenon of energy, but rather a consequence of the distribution of energy. It comes about because of patterns and organized structures in your brain, built of matter and energy. In other words, love is a child of entropy, not energy.

Those patterns that are love do not have any conservation law backing them up the way energy does. They come and go. In fact, the law of increasing entropy says they will go, sooner or later. What had been pattern will become void, like a chalk painting washed away by the rain- the chalk survives even as it is washed down the drain, but the painting is gone.

Your love and the love of everyone who has ever loved you will be washed away by the inevitable, unstoppable, universal flushing down the drain that is the fundamental law of increasing entropy. And then the sun will engulf the earth and reduce it to ash before shrinking into a white dwarf and dying in obscurity.

To relax after four consecutive days (technically) of chemistry exams I like to relax by making chemistry memes.

Lawful good: Colour coded including differentiating between metalloids and non-metals, and lanthanides and actinides.

Neutral good: Colour coded but without the above distinctions.

Chaotic good: Theodore Gray's "real life" periodic table, with a representative sample of each element where it's possible/safe.

Lawful neutral: Colour coded to show the sustainability predictions for each element.

True neutral: Exam standard.

Chaotic neutral: Colour coded but only by block.

Lawful good: Colour coded by sustainability predictions but with size proportional to size of existing reserves making it look really odd.

Neutral evil: Shows representative pictures of the elements, but only has atomic numbers not atomic mass. I admit this is my periodic table I've had for nearly seven years, it is good for checking quickly where an element is.

Chaotic evil: These make me SICK. Fake periodic tables with other things that are NOT elements with MADE-UP symbols. The one pictured is the worst I've ever seen it's not even the right SHAPE.

Through all the STRESS of living with my parents for almost a month, I am starting to fall in love with our new home ❤️ We are making it totally ours and it's exhausting but terribly exciting!
