[brief reminder that these will be *loosely* in an order of least to most favorite, though that often shifts] 🌲 Blu Christmas Holiday Movie Asplosion 2022! ⛄ Chapter 1: Dr. Seuss' The Grinch 🦌 I begin with the least of the three Grinch versions. A bit of a shame, because it is visually pleasing, has good voice actors, and took a more unique approach to the music. Unfortunately, the songs often feels forced and overly corny, the voice of the Grinch (Cummerbund Bandersnatch) feels stuck in an attempt to sound more American as well as cartoony, and the story as presented in this version lacks somewhat in (the ever important) charm, when compared to the others. But, it's still not all that bad.
