P.S. Your work " A victory all in itself" is my favourite. I didn't think i would cry after reading only 330 words. Moreover, reading it comforted me. I was so torn over how merlin ended that i have forgotten that merthur had good times too. And that i didn't have to think of it as a tragedy. So Thank you!! Hii! It's me again. I am sorry, i really feel like i am bothering you😅 but it's just that i am new to the merlin fandom ( not exactly new bcoz i watched the show three years ago but i decided to hyperfixate on it now) so i don't really know anyone. You are the only merthur fanfic writer i know and i have a prompt ( only if you are still accepting them)

I read a post somewhere that what if instead of arthur being merlin's destiny, merlin was arthur's. Imagine the great dragon calling arthur and saying all that stuff to him. And arthur having to navigate everything while he keeps this a secret from merlin. He knows about merlin's magic but he thinks that merlin himself doesn't know of his own magic so he has to keep that a secret too. And he starts acting like a mother hen bcoz he thinks that all the magic merlin performs is accidental and is afraid that uther will find out...

Hi!!! I didn't notice anything during the live yesterday but I did see that video going around asfsdgdfg the video wasn't edited, it did look like there was something there at that moment but it didn't appear anywhere else so I don't think its true!! Like this part here he rolls his tongue quite a bit but we don't see anything there:

plus!! I think tongue piercings can affect your voice and/or overall sound?? given how passionate jungkook is when it comes to singing I don't think he'd risk it ;;

So i was thinking about Merthur, as usual. I was wondering if you have any information on how old Arthur and Merlin were at the start of the series and then at the end of the series.

I know Arthur might have been 20 and Merlin would be around 18-19 at the beginning. But then i have no idea about how many years they were together for.

hello friend!!! what an interesting question damn so i was googling the ages because i always assume merlin was a lot younger than arthur for some reason. but if the great dragon was imprisoned 20ish years ago at the beginning when balinor fled, our boy must have been 18/19😭and arthur would be 20 going 21 during the coming of age ep. i always thought killibitch saying “young boy” to “young man” was significant in between series 3 to 4, which could mean merlin turned 21 for s4’s “young man”. so if that is true, merlin came to camelot when he was 18!!

i assume it was about 10 after the first ep to the last ep, but these two people have different timelines ideas:

i am more inclined to go with what reganX says tbh to include all the time jumps but i suppose either could work!!

jesus that would mean merlin was 28/29 and arthur was only 30😭😭😭😭poor kids. morgana was a bit older i believe and i think gwen would either be the same or a bit younger than merlin🥲

Anyways, i wanted to talk about the tumblr post you made that inspired that fic. You are absolutely right!!!! Merlin is fundamentally good and the in the finale , arthur sees merlin for who he sees. Having magic didn't change merlin and arthur could see that. I cry everytime i hear arthur say that he doesn't want him to change. Bcoz Arthur loves him the way he is. The magic reveal changed nothing. ❤️
