6.) What was Hawke’s reaction to Fenris’s outburst after killing Hadriana?
hawkes pretty desensitised to murder by now. from what he was told about hadriana, what he saw of orana, he didnt think fenris was out of line by killing hadriana, even if he did kind of “lie” to her first.
he was mostly concerned about how fenris felt. theres a lot of anger, aggression, and it took hawke aback at first. he’s known fenris to be a pretty polite person, someone who laughs at shitty jokes. but he knows fenris has a lot of trauma, things that makes him say the things he does. the “what does magic touch that it doesn’t spoil?” line definitely gave hawke some heartache. he’s a fairly self-loathing mage himself but it pains him, the raw emotion behind those words, all of the hurt that led fenris to that point.
also not being about to say “You” is one of the biggest sins of the game.
9.) How did Hawke give Fenris the favor? When did Fenris start wearing it, and how did Hawke feel about seeing Fenris wear it during the breakup?

10.) Did Hawke give Fenris the Book of Shartan before or after the breakup? How did this affect their relationship?
before, actually! they were still in the stages of heavy flirting and semi-relationship. so the offer to learn to read was pretty quickly accepted.
it was awkward after the breakup. hawke was unsure whether he was going to be overstepping boundaries. so they missed a few sessions, but upon coming to pick fenris up for a mission, he caught him struggling with a book of his own. it was then hawke decided to offer for him to come again. fenris was grateful that there was not too many hard-feelings there. he did leave hawke after all, and he never wanted to make things worse for him by hanging around too much.
eventually they started having lessons again. it could be pressing at times, especially for hawke who wanted nothing more to kiss the living daylights out of him when he was sat this close to him. but the progress was important.
20.) When did Fenris first say, “I am yours,” to Hawke? What was Hawke’s response?
MELTED. but there’s some strong implications there, it’s something they eventually have a conversation about. hawke doesnt want fenris to feel like he’s owned by anyone, but fenris laughs him off, tells him he says it because he wants to and he doesn’t feel owned or caged by their relationship. before hawke can express any more concern, he kisses him and that quickly shuts them both up.
