Dylan McDermott as Bloody Face 2012

"Last night’s episode, titled “The Origins of Monstrosity,” delivered some major surprises for AHS fans, notably the return—at least in audio—of original castmember Dylan McDermott. Now, the actor didn’t physically show his face but it was definitely his voice heard teasing homicide detectives in the modern day Briarcliff storyline and it appears that McDermott is the Bloody Face of the present; the final moments of the episode revealed that, while Adam Levine’s Leo is definitely dead, McDermott’s Bloody Face has kidnapped Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s Teresa. McDermott’s role in this latest installment of AHS has been cloaked in secrecy so a major role like Bloody Face would make sense."

I think it’s interesting the aliens come after Kit has sex with women. That’s a really good clue. People should look at that. There’s something about that. what does this mean?

for me, it's very confused and I dont understand what Ryan try to do.

2 possibilities: When Kit have sex with women, the woman see aliens (like Grace and Alma) but not really possible b/c Sister Jude saw alien too when she was drunk, and Anne Frank too, during her lobotomy, we can see an alien in her eye.

Another theory: when Kit has sex with women, aliens come, but I dont understand why Sister Jude saw an alien b/c Kit hasn't sex at this moment.

I just hope ryan not try to make Kit as an alien. I hope aliens are really an illusion and not for real. Just b/c that would become a bit ridiculous.

Well, last theories for Bloody Face! (just for fun)

1964: all the clues let us think it's Dr Arden but I dont want to believe it, it's so obvious. I stay on my first think: a creature made by Dr Arden (maybe his first Rasper)

2012: Always think he's the child of Kit and Alma OR Kit and Grace. Kit had sex with both of them. In an old post from Vamphorrorstory (here), she mentioned the same shirt for Kit and BF (inmate shirt). I noticed, Bloody Face wears a woman lingerie (looks the pic).

Possible he wears one of clothe from his dad and his mom. I think Alma was pregnant when she was abducted. If we believe it's Dr Arden who kidnaped her, he could make some experience on her during his pregnancy and in the futur, "make" a new Bloody Face.

Ok, now, I stop and wait the Episode! (brain off)

We are gonna go ahead and theorize that this teaser is gonna have to to do w/ Lana next week w/ Dr. Thredson. We're thinking what Dr. Thredson is gonna turn out to be is a rapist and possibly not Bloody Face. He thinks he's helping her to be cured of her lesbianism by doing this. This might have been even what Jed was eluding to when Dr. Thredson's real mother came through during the exorcism on "Tricks and Treats". What do you think?

Dr. Arden and Josef Mengele

Some comparisons (not all that I could list.. trust me here!) 

- Both were @ Auschwitz

- Both utilize electroshock therapy on female patients

- Performed their procedures w/o the use of anesthesia.

- Removed body parts and organs from their patients. 

- Both met prisoners coming off the trains and picked twins out of the crowd mainly (for his experiments)

- Both came visiting w/ candy for the children and the children thought he was really a nice person/doctor. Mengele even had a name he called himself when meeting the children : Uncle Mengele. Even after the fact, some of the survivors of his experiments still called him " Mengele the Protector"

-Both escaped to other countries/continents as war criminals. Mengele went to South America (ended up in Brazil), while Arden came to the USA.

- They both continue to perform horrible experiments on their patients after WW II.

Haven't seen his White Angel Pose he was famous for at Auschwitz on the show yet, but I'm anxiously awaiting to see it!

A theory for 1964 Bloody Face

We have now seen 2 episodes of AHS: Asylum and have seen Bloody Face in both 1964 and 2012. As you can see in the following photo, the eyes are a different color. We know what that probably means! 2 DIFFERENT BLOODY FACES!

I think 1964 Bloody Face could be none other than Eric Stonestreet (aka Piggy Pig Man from last season). Remember back @ the Emmys when Ryan admitted that Eric Stonestreet would be returning this season as a "killer"? I did a little bit of research about Eric and found out that he raised pigs when he was much younger. Hello RED FLAG ANYONE!!!

So back to 1964, what kind of profession might 1964 Bloody Face have that would allow him to have the knowledge to decapitate and skin things/people? Several possible professions come immediately to my mind: A butcher, taxidermist, tailor/seamstress or a farmer. He might even work in the bakery @ Briarcliff.

Quick note: Ryan released this Eric Stonestreet info at the Emmys back on Sept 23rd. If my calculations are correct, this would have been around the time they were filming the 4th or 5th episode for this season. I've read episode summaries and Bloody Face is supposed to be unmasked on the 5th episode, " I am Anne Frank Pt. 2". They appear to be filming either the 8th or 9th episode at this time. So approximately one episode a week sounds about right. What do you all think?

AHS Asylum Theory Deux

I think Dr. Arden lets Monsignor Howard have his way with the girls before he kills them and uses their remains as fodder to the Raspers.

Also, don’t think Bloody Face is the same as them. He killed Leo… A man, and didn’t behead him. I doubt an ice pick/orbitoclast would be very useful in beheading people, but then again, I don't know. It would be like trying to behead someone with a spork.

AHS: Asylum Fans: You might wanna watch the Cropsey movie

In an recent post, go-westfield-wolverines mentioned the movie, Cropsey (2009).

Why might Cropsey be important this season?

For many years, there was a local urban legend on Staten Island,(NY) that there was a boogeyman who lived on the grounds of the abandoned Willowbrook State School for mentally disabled children who would come out at night through the tunnel system and kidnap children. It turns out this was not an urban legend, but the boogeyman was actually a real person.

Who was this real-life boogeyman?

Andre Rand ( March 11th, 1944 - Present) Birth name: Frank Rushan

AKA: The Pied Piper of Staten Island

Background:

- Was a former orderly @ Willowbrook from 1966-1968 - After Willowbrook closed down completely in the early 1980’s , he was homeless and had several make-shift campsites on the Willowbrook grounds - His father died when he was 14 years old - His mother was a patient @ Pilgrim State hospital, a psychiatric hospital on Long Island. This hospital has the same exact layout as Willowbrook..

His supposed victims:

Left to right: Alice Pereira, Holly Ann Hughes, Tiahease Jackson, Henry           “ Hank” Gafforio, and Jennifer Schweiger

Alice Pereira-  Disappeared : July 7th, 1972 Holly Ann Hughes- Disappeared July 15th, 1981 Tiahease Jackson- Disappeared August 13, 1983 Henry” Hank” Gafforio- Disappeared June 9th, 1984 Jennifer Schweiger: Disappeared July 9th, 1987 (BODY RECOVERED: August 12th, 1987)

His convictions: For Jennifer Schweiger: Convicted of Kidnapping , murder charges dropped b/c the jury couldn't reach a verdict. Sentenced to 25 yrs to life   For Holly Ann Hughes: Convicted of Kidnapping and sentenced to 25 years to life.

To this day, the only body to be recovered has been Jennifer Schweiger.

Possible connections/coincidences between Willowbrook/Cropsey and AHS: Asylum

-  Hepatitis outbreaks (especially Hepatitis A) were common when Willowbrook first opened. As a result, a controversial medical study to treat this involving gamma gloublin was conducted from the 1950's-1970's. Dr. Arden appears to be performing such controversial experiments.

- Willowbrook State School is surrounded heavily by the woods, as is Briarcliff.

- Willowbrook is covered with graffiti and littered w/items from the former hospital, as is Briarcliff.

-Willowbrook has a tunnel system. Briarcliff has a death chute, which is basically the same thing.

-The conditions and treatment of the patients within Willowbrook were quite horrible while opened and several newspapers and a investigative reporter broke the story of these conditions, leading to its closure. Is this why Briarcliff is shut down? Will Lana get her story of Briarcliff's secrets out for the world to see?

- When Willowbrook closed down, some of the patients were left to fend for themselves and they remained at Willowbrook. Is this what is happening this season w/ Bloody Face?

  He take the skin of his victims, keep the organs for experiments and give the rest of body to the Raspers.

  Possible the 6th episode “Origins of Monstrosity” is the story of BF, so the story of Dr Arden.
