when you create an incentive system in an RPG you have to be careful because you warp player behavior around that incentive system and actions are now taken in relation to the system

if i give you XP every time you laughed at someone else's joke, ive changed how you relate to other people at the table and how they view laughter, jokes, and authenticity. was that joke actually funny or are you laughing for a reward?

and this isnt necessarily bad! but a rule presents people with the choice to either follow it or reject it, and both actions sculpt how they play.

KAIJUOLIGIST - ZILLA SENIOR

This is my own theory as in no way considered canon however actual facts of the shows as well as films have been used to strengthen the theory.

ZILLAS GENDER -

Thee only lizards to have ever reproduced asexually was the komodo dragon, whiptail lizards and a reported case of an anaconda. Only females can do this when males arn't present or she deems them unfit to mate. Iguanas cannot produce asexually and no lizard recorded thus far is a hermaphrodite. Mutated or not i believe Zilla being the first of its kind was a female to produce asexually for no males were present.

PARTHOGENISIS/HERMAPHRODITE

Do not confuse hermaphrodite and asexual reproduction. Think of a jellyfish they reproduce asexually because they in part are both genders or have qualities associated with said genders chromosomes. They do not need to ever mate. Hence to breed asexually. Bullfrogs, chickens/fowl for example have genders male and female, however due to either the lack of comparable mates they can change gender. Males cannot reproduce as in give birth. (The seahorse carries the eggs doesn't lay them) In the case of a chicken if overies are damaged they can turn them in to testies. That brings us to Zillas offspring

ZILLA JR

Zilla jr is 100% male. The cartoon series of the same genre is basically the continuation of the movie through episodic content. The script for the sequel to the film was leaked ages ago and bares some resemblance to the first episode of the series. Zilla jr is not a hermaphrodite as he actually had the urge to breed and reproduce despite being sterile. Nor can he change sex as would be the case in those that can change gender to best suite the environment. Willingly he wanted to breed with a female. Hermaphrodites have no need to breed. I have a theory as in why that egg was indeed his but ill leave that for another time.

PRE PRODUCTION OF THE FILM

The concept art of the film (credit goes to the concept artist of the film) if we look at zillas finial concepts she yes ill refer to it as she is rather effeminate. The intention to have zilla as female was a get go from the beginning. However in the finial moments of the post production Hyundai/toho explicitly expressed that "godzilla" should and always be male. So little fact was mixed in with science fiction.

Lets take a look at the scene where Animal or the camera guy from the film looks up a zillas belly. Its doesn't have the signs of a male reproduction organ not a dick (lol) but the signs of claspers via its slit. (This will be revised later to include the technical terms of the organ and the names of placement of where the reproductive organs are kept) officially it has already been confirmed that zillas 3d model had female reproductive organs.

Senior is not a he never was. Just to clarify zilla IS NOT a female godzilla it is its own species. I do agree that godzilla should only ever be a male. Zilla Jr has always been male.

Okay okay so I’ve been thinking about Kris. And I have many Thoughts.

Deltarune spoilers ahead! I’m on mobile and don’t know how to do “Read More” :/

One of those thoughts started off with the simple fact that Kris does not like hugs. We know this from Asgore in chapter 1. A lot of people think Kris is going to turn out to be evil. I don’t think Kris is evil, I think they’re a little shit but I don’t think they’re evil. Ppl list various reasons such as: They slashed their mom’s tires (allegedly. I wouldn’t put anything past toby at this point.), They opened at least one dark world, and they’re trapping us in places, to name a few. But I mean, they’re already possessed and that spirit is making them do things they don’t want to. At best It’s making them hug people, and they don’t like hugs. At worst it’s making them kill their classmates. So I have to ask, are they evil? How much possession could YOU take before you started doing irrational things like slashing your mother’s tires?

But then you think, “but if Kris was doing it for attention then why did they sneak out to allegedly slash the tires? Why didn’t they do it in full view of their mother?” And you’d be absolutely right. This leads into the question, how do they function without a SOUL anyway? And I propose a solution.

They’re not.

Kris is shown to have obvious difficulty operating without a SOUL but is capable of doing so. But why not operate like that all the time? Probably because they can’t for long. But maybe, just maybe, we’re not the only SOUL here. It’s possible that, for whatever reason, Kris’s SOUL that they naturally would have as a human is simply... broken. So they somehow were given a new one. So now they’ve got a SOUL and a half. This would explain how Kris has enough will/determination to act as The Knight.

Or another, darker hypothesis, Kris is not being possessed by one SOUL, but two. Us, and the other one. Maybe it’s malicious, but I personally hope not. I think it might just be... young. It would explain the difficulty of movement and erratic behavior. It doesn’t understand what’s happening, doesn’t know what it’s doing. It’s just doing what it knows how to do and whenever possible just wants to be left alone. But then it doesn’t know how to be alone or Kris has a louder voice when it’s just the two of them, so it has to pick its poison. It’s also possible that this is flipped, and we’re the young and naive SOUL, and the other one is reeling from the new “addition” and we’re interfering in what it was already doing. This is a shakier hypothesis but it’s a hypothesis.

Going back to “Kris’s SOUL is broken” it’s also maybe possible that their SOUL has been split. Maybe their SOUL is equally divided between the light world and the dark world, making them capable of breaking open fountains for whatever reason. I don’t have any evidence for this, but it would at least make a cool AU/fanfic if not correct.

And I don’t think we’re “making” dark fountains. This has to have happened at least once before. Especially since the characters talk as if there’ve been generations in these worlds. And it’s not some weird time fuckery because Ralsei confirms time is the same. Jevil and Spamton were both established adults in the world with a job, met someone, and then slowly descended into madness. So I think they’re being RE-opened.

An unrelated thought that would be interesting to pursue, what if we are how Gaster is testing Kris for a vessel? We seem to simply be cast out into Kris just after what is presumably Gaster does his thing and shows you that he has the power here. Or perhaps, we are Gaster. He was looking in the wrong place for a Vessel. He’s been scouring the dark world for a perfect, familiar vessel, when all he needed, was a human. After all, if a monster can absorb a human SOUL like we saw in Undertale and keep both consciousnesses at least mostly sentient (which Gaster would definitely have tried to research as the royal scientist, and may have seen when the player starts uncovering lore in UT.), why can’t a human do it too? Maybe he can’t will himself a full form yet,

But surely a human has enough will and enough determination for the both of them... right? And surely they won’t mind if he inspects the dark worlds with a fresh pair of eyes. He is a scientist, after all. And maybe as a scientist he believes his duty is to do things that benefit monster and humankind alike, and so naturally his moral compass comes in and says “Hey! You should keep the world in balance because no-one else will!” But, like many of us, perhaps his curiosity gets the best of him as he realizes he too, can SAVE. If nothing else, good AU/fanfic idea.

Deltarune focuses a lot on puppets. And it makes me wonder, since it is presumably Gaster who basically said “I hold the power over who you can and cannot be” in the beginning of chapter one, maybe Kris and Spamton aren’t the only ones. How do we know that we’re even making the choices that don’t matter? It’s entirely possible that Gaster could snap his fingers and boom.

CATGHOST THEORIES: THE SKINWALKER

Theory 1: The Skinwalker isn't real

There either never was a skinwalker, or they don't exist outside of the hell-realm the trinity inhabit. Instead, The Skinwalker is a manifestation of Naarah's guilt-induced trauma over sacrificing the dog for Elon. This idea may be corroborated by the original Navajo concept of the skinwalker, magic-users who abuse their powers to their own evil ends, perverting magic from its intended uses (e.g. healing the sick and injured); this idea poses Elon and Naarah themselves as "skinwalkers", abusing their witchcraft and commiting atrocities, which is why it often shows up as her, Elon, and the dog.

Theory 2: The Skinwalker was/is real

At the time of the dog's sacrifice, Elon may have already been burned at the stake. The skinwalker chose to, yknow, walk in Elon's skin, and take advantage of Naarah while she was in a state of ignorance, shock, or denial of Elon's death. This gave The Skinwalker enough sway with Naarah in order to sacrifice the dog for... whatever reason. This idea is corroborated by the modern misinterpretation of the skinwalker, a monster that assumes the form of the deceased in order to manipulate or kill their prey.

Theory 3: Naarah created The Skinwalker

This is the most left-field theory, and the one I have the least faith in. Elon needed to sacrifice the dog, and either via accident or intent transformed it into a modern skinwalker. This would serve to explain why it chooses to manifest itself as the dog, but explains little else.

I wonder if the reason we got slapped into Kris’s body is because Gaster like, Actually Stole/Destroyed the vessel we created for some reason. And we were SUPPOSED to come to life with that vessel. But since we came into being without a vessel, we just kinda attached. I also wonder if Kris knows that the SOUL probably wants Kris to be free as much as they do. I hope so.

Gravity Falls Theory: motivations

SPOILERS BELOW!!!!!

There’s a theory post about Dipper possibly being a puppet / influenced by Bill even after he “reclaimed” his body. If someone could find it it could find it that’d be appreciated. 

So let’s talk about Dipper. Dipper is angry at Stan, unusually so at the end of S2E11. He’s even angry looking after the portal opens and stabilizes and isn’t worried about Mabel at all. It could be that he is mad at Mabel for not pushing the button or Dipper is still being suddenly influenced by Bill. 

Let’s look back though. Dipper makes a deal in order to get the password for the laptop and find the identity of the author. Bill prevents him from doing this, essentially also breaking his end of the deal in a way. I’m not sure what that will do but I’ll save that for later. Bill says that “Dipper is getting too close to the truth. and he has big plans from happening.” But what are those big plans?

A hypothetical: What if Dipper accidentally found the password? He would have gotten into the laptop, found the identity of the author or Stan’s tangible relation to the Author and confronted Stan about it. Stan lied about not knowing the “mystery” of Gravity Falls up until he was directly confronted with it - he would probably not lie if directly confronted. Stan would explain the author and mystery of gravity falls to Dipper and Mabel and they would most likely help him bring the author back through the portal. Dipper and Mabel are twins remember? They would do anything to protect each other and they would see that in Stan. 

So what does Bill gain by not allowing Dipper to find answers? I think BIll wanted Stan to fail. The machine stabilized to an extent and if it truly failed it might have caused something more catastrophic. I also think that Bill sees Stan and the Author as an enemy for some reason given his reaction to Gideon’s offer in S1E11. 

But as always we must accept the above as pure speculation. Thoughts?
