some people think writers are so eloquent and good with words, but the reality is that we can sit there with our fingers on the keyboard going, “what’s the word for non-sunlight lighting? Like, fake lighting?” and for ten minutes, all our brain will supply is “unofficial”, and we know that’s not the right word, but it’s the only word we can come up with…until finally it’s like our face got smashed into a brick wall and we remember the word we want is “artificial”.

warrior cats au concept. All five clans have a chosen one. Its still the same cast. Holly, lion, jay, dove and ivy, but each one is for a different clan. for this i made a LOT of changes to tnp as well because tnp is the setup of po3 and oots.
lets start with those changes.
moth and hawk are t4t siblings. The reason mainly is that they felt more comfortable as those genders, as with most trans ppl. But what gave them the idea was that, after Tadpole drowned and they went to riverclan, everyone just sort of… assumed their genders and they went along with it. Sasha didnt care, and Tigerstars ghost is beyond such things, his other daughter was also trans so whats the difference as long as they act like their chosen identities (this is how HE thinks, not anyone else. I do not promote such views)

THE POWERS!
okay so since each clan has a different token chosen one, the powers are different and more related to their Clans
Holly: her power is fish. She can swim well and breathe underwater. She doesn’t have hydrokinesis (waterbending) but she can hide in the lake! She uses this to sneak around during the usual Po3 shenaniganry and during her self-exile. Yes she is the riverclan one. Yes i am pushing doomed willowholly/cinderholly. No i will not be questioned. When she’s underwater she feels extremely at peace. It’s natural to her. And, when she’s swimming, she tends to be able to think clearer, and even have some sort of guiding consciousness that doesn’t sound like her in her head.
Jay: he’s still blind, just for a different reason. And his power is blending into the shadows. Jay lives in Shadowclan and was raised by Tawnypelt, spending his life learning how to sneak around because cats never told him anything and it annoyed him. In a way, he also wanted to prove he could be a warrior and not a medcat. He hates that idea just as much here as he does in canon. He can sense/hear spirits, but THAT is a whole other story, if anything and has nothing to do with his chosen one status. He wants to be batman so bad/j
lion: his power is literally the same thing. The least changes were made to his arc bc i dont like him. And also bc honestly, his arc didn’t NEED that many changes. The only difference is that he has no littermates (and his other parent is mothwing not crowfeather. I NEED to clarify that now before ppl think im a darkshipper
dove: her power hinges on having Two abilities more than the others. because she more or less IS the wind. Instead of just being able to hear really well, the winds of the moor are an extension of her. She runs with the speed of the gales in her territory, and hears as far as they reach. This makes her the fastest of the not-born-in-the-clan-that-raised-me gang to figure out what happened, which is a whole other post/rb in the chain
ivy: Ivypool was never a part lf the prophecies in the canon, so this was hard to come up w/ since she had no patron clan
PSYCH!!!!! Ivy is the Skyclan prophecy cat!!!! As mentioned in the tags of the first post, this spoils AVOS as well. Ivy’s power is that she can leap like she’s flying and climb really well. In other words, sugar glider!!!! She also spends a lot of time questioning her identity, which is why she leaves Thunderclan in the first place, and she he winds up becoming transmasc on her journey. Again, another story. But still.
