On this day 33yrs ago May 11, 1989 Stevie Nicks released “THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MIRROR”, her first solo album in almost four years and her 4th US Top 10 album (9th top 10 with Fleetwood Mac incl.) The album reached #10 in the US, #8 in Australia, #3 in the UK. Stevie Nicks released four singles from ‘The Other Side Of The Mirror’ •Rooms On Fire •Long Way To Go •Two Kinds of Love •Whole Lotta Trouble The first single ‘ROOMS ON FIRE” reached #16 on Billboards Hot 100 singles chart, #16 in the UK and #9 in Canada and was a hit on the charts in many countries. The second single ‘Long Way To Go’, reached #11 in the US on Billboards Album Rock Tracks chart, #60 on the UK Top 100 and #60 in Germany. The third single ‘Two Kinda Of Love’ a duet with Bruce Hornsby (with a sax solo by Kenny G) and pegged by Billboard Magazine as that years ‘Leather & Lace’, didn’t materialize as the single didn’t chart. The fourth single ‘Whole Lotta Trouble’ was Grammy nominated in the Best Rock Vocal Performance Female category giving Stevie Nicks her 4th nomination in this category. (She has never won). The fourth and final month of "The Other," a startling super-story spanning four months that has turned the wall-crawler's world upside down! Peter is being tested while by questioned by Tony about anything he remembers when he attacked Morlun. He answers honestly and tells him he can only recall Morlun screaming but even then he says he felt like he was there and not there at the same time. When he finishes testing him, Tony admits to Peter that he is uncertain that he is the real Peter but telling Tony about his memory gaps helped relieve his suspicions since a fake would try to fill in the gaps in memory and would try to duplicate his injuries but Peter's wounds are fully healed. Peter and Tony run into Mary Jane in the hallway, who has sewn up Peter's costume. This reminds Tony to finish working on a gift for Peter. Mary Jane asks if Peter is okay, and though he claims to be fine, in the mirror, he sees the spider god from his dreams. Back on the streets, Peter realizes that Mary Jane did a poor job of fixing his costume and takes it to tailor Leo Zelinsky for repair but while waiting for it to be fixed, the power goes out. Investigating without his shirt, he discovers that the whole area is without power. Soon, he finds a semi-collapsed apartment building that is about to come down completely. After freeing a group of people, he ventures in to find a little girl who was separated from her mother.
