Symbiote suit Darry? Don't mind if I do!
Chapter Three of Tribulation by @little-blueberry-pie now!!
Triggers: Drinking, partial nudity, and referenced aggression.
Please ask me to include any triggers I failed to notice!
Dally found a peaceful bar full of raging parties and people making out all over the place. Okay, so maybe it wasn’t peaceful but it was all Dally needed. He grabbed the nearest bottle and chugged its contents.
‘Maybe, just maybe,’ he thought, ‘I can get so drunk I’ll just forget he exists.’ Dally nodded to himself as he seized the shot glass that was placed in front of him and downed it.
“Damn Dallas, I know you like to drink but you usually don’t go this fast!” Buck exclaimed, “What’s on your mind?” He didn’t answer but instead grumbled for another beer. Buck shook his head and went to grab it.
Dally was seated at one of the uncomfortable bar stools at Buck’s bar. Every single move you made on one of those stools produced a loud squeak, but you couldn’t hear it over all the other people there.
Everyone was having a good time, everyone except him it seemed. Smiles and laughter filled the air (not to mention a bit of moaning and groaning too). It was Buck’s house after all.
“Buck! Bring me another one will ya?” Buck stared at him.
“I just got here Dallas, you couldn’t have asked me to just get you two?” Dally laughed, then with a stern face went, “No.” Buck raised his eyebrows in surprise but went to get the alcohol. He sighed in frustration.
“This is going to be harder than I thought it would be huh?” he asked no one but himself. Dally knew it would take more than a few beers and shots to get him blackfaced drunk, so there really wasn’t any point in trying. Besides, that’s not really what he wanted. What he wanted was Johnny to-
“Yo Dally come on man. I got your beer. Are ya gonna take it or can I give it away?” Dally snatched the beer and drank it.
“Ya don’t ever give away Dallas Winston’s beer.” Buck laughed.
“That’s what I thought.” Then Buck walked to the other end of the bar to serve someone else.
Dally glanced around the bar quickly. And that’s when he realized that it was a whole lot emptier than he thought it was. I mean there were a lot of people, but it wasn’t jam-packed like it usually was. That caused Dally to think, something he (believe it or not,) didn’t do very often.
“What time even is it?” He muttered, looking around for a clock of some sorts.
“Uh Dal? You looking for a clock?” Buck asked him, trying to hold back a laugh. Dally nodded as he continued his search. “You got one on your wrist.” Dally raised an eyebrow in confusion,
“Wha-” then he found it. He was wearing a watch that he stole a couple of months back.
“Oh yeah.” Then he found out what time it really was. 1 in the morning. That and the fact that it was a Thursday night would explain why the crowds were smaller.
“I swear it was Friday…” Buck suppressed a grin, “Oh well. Bye Buck.” Dally walked to the entrance of Buck’s house then decided against it and went upstairs. Walking down the hallway he found his way into his room only to find the door open.
“What the fu-” and there was Johnny putting on one of Dally’s shirts over his tiny bare chest. Johnny looked up to see him there.
“I- I can explain!” He stuttered. Dally just stared at him for a second. There were two reasons for this, one; he was a bit tipsy so he didn’t fully catch on right away and two; Johnny looked kinda hot.
“Please don’t hurt me.” His voice quiet as he shrank back. Dally quickly snapped out of his trance.
“I ain’t gonna hurt ya kid. I would never. And besides, if I did the gang would beat me too. Not that I ever would” He said the last part more to himself than to Johnny but he still heard it.
“So you aren’t gonna hit me for taking your shirt?” Dally shook his head.
“Nah Johnnycake. I’m just a bit confused but I’m sure you got a good reason.”
‘If Dally meant taking his shirt so I could feel close to him then yeah I got a good reason’ Johnny thought to himself.
“Come on kid, why don’t I walk ya to the Curtis’. I have a feeling you don’t want to stay here.” Johnny did but concluded it wasn’t a good idea to protest. He got up and walked over to Dally’s side.
“Why don’t we go through the park?” Dally glanced at the smaller boy inquisitively.
“Why?” Johnny shrugged in response.
“Why not?” Dally nodded.
“Fair point kid. Alright, we’ll take a quick walk through the park.” Johnny was glad he agreed. Maybe here was when he would get his chance. He looked up at Dally.
He had his dark brown hair in his face, like he didn’t really care where it was right now. His deep brown eyes trained on the road ahead of them. A cancer stick was dangling from his lips, the end glowing a dim orange ember. The light was coming from Johnny’s left so it also hit the side of Dally’s face, showing the slight perspiration on his face, most likely from all the booze he drank. Dally subconsciously flipped up the collar of his black leather jacket and took a drag from his weed.
‘Then again, maybe it’s not my night,’ Johnny thought. He quickly looked away as he felt his face heat up. Then a small pang went through his chest. Why though he couldn’t quite tell. It seemed to be for a couple of different reasons but none of them were very clear. He tried his best to ignore it.
And then Johnny decided he couldn’t stand it anymore. He abruptly stopped and grabbed the other boy’s wrist. He turned around in confusion but before he could say anything Johnny interrupted him.
“Dally, I’ve got something important to tell you.”
