stimming hcs for the outsiders characters bc i do half of these and i want to imagine fictional characters doing it too

darry:

- the invisible piano thing, where you play the piano in the air along to the beat of whatever song you're listening to, if that all made sense

- i think he'd do it even when he wasn't listening to music, like he'd just wander around the house looking for something, playing the invisible piano as he walks around

- i think he'd also crack his joints and his knuckles a lot to stim as well

- he probably got told off for doing that one a lot when he was a kid, all the adults telling him he was gonna end up with arthritis if he kept it up

- twirling/pulling on his hair

- when he was a kid he used to pull out big hunks of his hair but as he got older he stopped that and stuck to just windin some strands around his fingers and tugging on them

- he also strikes me as the kind of person to bite his nails a lot, sometimes to the point where they bleed, if he's really nervous or upset

- rocking back and forth

- snapping his fingers

- always rearranging things; if he's anxious or excited, he's always wandering around, moving things, even if nothing needs cleaning up

- clicking his teeth, idk how else to describe it, but it's this very specific noise i've heard people make before

Dally: -Trans Masc (Explains a lot about his backstory) -Sees Pony as a little brother -Bisexual -Loves music, and if you sing to him, he’ll love you forever -In love with Johnny -Loves horses -Can be soft buy only if you’re dating and you gain his trust over a really long period of time -Loves Elvis’ music

Johnny: -Bisexual -Had anxiety before he was jumped but it got worse after and just made him 10x more paranoid -Got much closer with Ponyboy when they were in Windrixville -Had/has a crush on Dally -Constantly made jokes about Pony being blonde

Two-Bit: -Really does like Marcia -Has tiny feet -Pansexual -The most accepting and is the best to come out to -Best Secret Keeper -ADD -Dad friend to Johnny and Pony

Darry: -The token Straight -Keeps the Gang together -Doesn’t see himself ever having kids of his own -Talks to his parents a lot for advice -Blames himself for Dally and Johnny’s deaths -Blames himself for Bob’s death, as well

Sodapop: -Is able to see through lies easily -Bisexual but prefers women/Fem presenting people -After Sandy left, he turned to Steve for comfort -Looked everywhere for Pony when he went missing -Not mad at Sandy, but is deeply hurt -Has depression -He/They -Is very sweet and trusts easily (Too easily) -Would probably listen to Greta Van Fleet in a modern era

Ponyboy: -Is Psychic -Too many thoughts but also not a thought behind those eyes -Gets confused easily -Sass Master -Either never swears or swears too much -Can be a tattle tale when he wants to be -Bisexual -Has a crush on both Cherry and Johnny -Is nice to people until they give him a reason not to be

Steve: -Gay -Doesn’t hate or even dislike Pony, he’s just jealous he’s closer with Soda -Hopelessly in love with Soda -If Soda asked, he’d run away with him -Masc Enby <3 -ADHD and doesn’t understand emotions well -Terrified of coming out -He’s dating Evie to convince himself he’s not Gay but does love her in a way -Sees Darry as a Father Figure -Gets excited about small things, but would never show it -PTSD -Gets extremely nervous every time he sees a police officer, due to Dally’s death -Any pronouns

He would scream this in Ponyboys face sometimes and just dance... ( he made a full dance routine)

Johnnys song would be 'Shape of you' by Ed Sheeran

I got a feeling in private he sings this when he's sad or thinking about some one and would just hum it EvERyWHerE

Ok Two-Bits favorite song in my eyes is 'desert' ~ Dawin ( it's mostly the lyrics he loves)

He would sing this and steal the cake from the curtis's house... and no one would question this.

Ponyboyyyyy's song would be a song dedicated to Cherry Valance ... 'treat you better' from Shawn Mendes

He would rehearse this with Sodapop... Soda would put a red wig on and a dress and put up with Pony singing this and dancing

At the end... Pony gets slapped and rejected by his own brother...

Dallas' modern song would be 'Ride' from Twenty one Pilots!

He would act like he's on stage ( when he's alone) but he would never ever sing in front of people but he would casually hum it

Darry's Song is 'I don't wanna live forever' from both Taylor Swift and Zane Malik

He would act like he doesn't like this song but he would use a spatula as a microphone every chance he gets!

Ma man Stevy's song would be 'Rockabye' made bye 'clean bandit'

He would love this song when he sleeps and he would just rock around the DX with soda just being stupid singing this with each other!

DANCE PARTNERS!

Ok this song ain't that modern but 'Hello' from Adele and the dance partners would be Two-bit and Pony!

There's rolling... and random people... and just they want money...

Next would be 'Closer' and that would be Darry and Soda. They would dance and sing and just be total good balls!

Soda and Sandy would be one and the song would be just 'say you won't let go' from James Arthur!

Mostly Sodas choice and half way... sandy leaves and the songs ruined.. 😪
