Normally Persephone was a people person. She tried to see the LIGHT in most people. But there were exceptions. Like before she even had her morning coffee and already had to witness the i n s e n s i t i v i t y of others. Should've kept quiet and minded her O W N business. But she had to get involved. Calling the man in front of her out on what his RUDE behavior. A bit LOUDER than what should've been necessary.
Spilling her own drink on him upon receiving it as the final cherry on top. [at least it was ICED and not scorching H O T] By that point the attention of practically EVERY single soul was upon them. She had walked out, without a second glance, feeling strangely PROUD of herself.
But that victorious high that surged through her veins came to a sudden halt and transformed into a SINKING feeling as she took a step into the office. No.... this could NOT be happening. Eyes widened and S P E E C H L E S S as the man who would interview her for this internship that she was DYING for --- was the same man who had a taste of her coffee that very morning. How fucking typical She should have apologized, and yet she didn't want to. She WOULDN'T undermine what she had done that she believed was fully D E S E R V E D
"'Morning... my name is Persephone Annoxi, here for the interview--- I see you managed to um --- clean up quite NICELY... Look maybe we can sort of be p r o f e s s i o n a l about this? I would greatly appreciate it..."
