The Queers "Reverberation" LP. So, generally, covers albums make me groan. However, I have always loved the covers The Queers have done in the past so I didn't actually groan when I learned about this album. And there's no reason to fear. This album is superb. Like, I was really happy with the last studio album they dropped recently and this is just a great follow up. The songs are arranged in such a way that whether you are familiar with the originals or only familiar with The Queers sound, either way, they sound familiar from either side. A few years ago I bought a vintage 1975 Fender Stratocaster hardtail from Joe Queer. He happened to be buying a piece of gear for his studio in Cleveland and offered to drop the guitar off personally at my home, which sounded awesome to me. When he got here he showed me the guitar real quick, demonstrated it for me. I refused to even touch the thing in front of him. Then he started looking at my record collection and saw I had a nearly complete collection of Beach Boys vinyl and we ended up talking about 60's pop music for a long time, so it's fun seeing some of the stuff on here that we talked about that night. It was a fun two and a half hours with Joe Queer and a memory I will always cherish. So in the end, I highly reccomend checking this out on Spotify at the very least... you'll probably enjoy it because it's good and fun. #LP #Vinyl #Records #TheQueers #Reverberation #PunkRock #PopPunk #CoversAlbum #TheBeachBoys #JanAndDean #TheMonkees #TheWho https://www.instagram.com/p/CheMBzVOr-r/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
