Comprehensive Sexual Education Module 3
Welcome! In this course, we will cover all aspects of sexual education. During the coming weeks, we will follow a complete human life cycle. Many of the topics may be triggering. If that is the case, please refrain from reading the module. Your mental health should always come first. I try to be as clinical as possible while discussing the topics as to not represent any personal bias that may be present.
Module 3: Implantation
Things I do/have done because of my anxiety
Want to leave and end up being at the designated place almost an hour early.
Choose to get to campus hours before my first class starts because I feel like I can't do anything until I'm on campus.
Be on a sort of 'pause mode' whenever I have something to do later in the day (i.e hangouts, classes, appointments).
Mentally go through the driving route to a place before leaving.
Switch to the left/right lane according to which I way I'll have to turn miles before I actually turn in that direction.
Kept asking "here?" whenever someone says to turn left/right.
Went back up to my car on the 4th floor because I was worried I forgot to lock it (I didn't but I had left a light on inside).
Have literally put my head down so I could not see the road while my brother was driving.
Have avoided going places because of the driving route.
Kept checking my bag to see that I had my wallet even though I literally just checked.
Have sat through an uncomfortable lunch with someone because I couldn't say no when they had asked a week earlier.
Decided not to eat because someone was in the kitchen.
Have kept going in the wrong direction instead of just turning around because there were people behind me or sitting around (this was while walking somewhere).
Had an anxiety attack after seeing a post about a friend who had an anxiety attack.
Had an anxiety attack at night and the next morning had another one.
Literally have holded off emailing my advisor for something important until end of semester.
Have waited until last minute to register for classes because I was too worried that there weren't going to be any I'd be able to get into(very counterproductive)
Just straight up laid on the floor for an hour or two. (But I do this when I'm good too soo)
Have missed so many opportunities to just tell someone I REALLY liked their outfit (they were so pretty).
Have avoided driving because I didn't want to be the one to put in gas(thow whole process of it stresses me out).
Calculated the cost of stuff I was buying way before getting to the chasier and transferred $100 to my checking to be sure I could pay for it (it ends up just being like 20 something dollars).
Already have my card out ready to pay and went over the routine of what you need to do in order to order and pay.
Have literally stood in front of a food stall, have the employee ask if they could help me, and then I just turned around and walked away. (I came back with my Dad who helped me order).
Have to mentally repeat my order and how I'll say it so many times while in line.
Just ordered water to drink because the idea of asking what else they had to drink was just no.
Been super tense on numerous occasions where I felt sore later on.
Cracked my fingers when nervous.
Literally practiced the ABC' in sign language when nervous.
Not told waiters if there was something wrong with my food and just accepted it.
Begged my parent not to call the doctors office when they messed something up.
