To be completely honest it was years before i "got" "new hork city". I dont know why but it wasnt clicking. Id just pretend to understand it when she brought it up but she could tell something was wrong, but I didnt want to talk about it. It was probably around 2024 when it started making sense to me- walruses go hork, and a lot of walruses, its sort of like a walrus version of a busy urban environment, much like new york city, but since it's walruses, it would be humorously called, new hork city.

My most diagnosable take is that honestly. As much as people in social justicey spaces talk about exercising your empathy ... there's also value in being able to turn it off so you're not extremely susceptible to emotional manipulation.
